Dr. Maohao Han, MD

Gallbladder removal sounded straightforward. Two 2-3 inch incisions plus the two holes from laparoscopic procedure. Skin was glued back together grossly with jagged edges and what seemed little thought about scarring (edges not meeting up, skin no aligned. Two incisions got infected. Called office Friday evening and Dr Han advised he was out of town and I could go to urgent care or call his office Monday. I knew that wouldn’t work so insisted that it was his surgery and he call in antibiotics…which he did when I insisted. Monday I called the office as I got awful yeast infection from antibiotics. I left a message at 9am. By 3 pm when I still hadn’t heard I called back and was told he was out of town and I should call my primary care doctor….awful post op care for sure. Felt like he’ll do the surgery and earn that check but anything beyond that he nor his office could be bothered. Very disappointing

The doctor was great! Let me clarify that 1st. Second, is there even an office staff!? My husband just had surgery and I can NOT get anyone on the phone for an issue with his stitches. Important paperwork needs to be filled out and wI was told it would be done a week ago. Nothing so far..

Not thorough with explanation, HORRIBLE with follow up after surgery. Will NEVER get office to answer phone. Had a drain put in and time to come out but won’t answer phone after they cancel appointment! Office never followed up either to see how I was doing after surgery!

If you have surgery with this doctor I hope you don't have complications. The staff waits 48 hours to call back which is the normal procedure.

Dr. Han was called by a charge nurse after several doctors misdiagnosed and failed to treat my sister's C diff infection. He immediately operated under tense emergency conditions while she was in septic shock, and nearly dead. He had to remove her entire colon which had been eaten away by Cdiff bacteria. He saved her life with his skill and immediate action.

I have had a couple of surgeries with Dr. Han and many office visits. He is a thorough and dedicated doctor and my outcomes have been excellent. I highly recommend his expertise.

Patient can't get through to either office, evidently inadequate or insufficient staff to pick up & answer the phone. Nurse Kathi is less than thorough and does no follow up and is an ineffective case manager.

I had my emergency appendix out and in the afternoon I was up and walking the halls of the hospital. After visit to his office was satisfying and courteous. Nice man.
