Dr. Maqsood Javed, MD

Dr. Javid is a very compassionate healthcare provider. His patients health is his main priority. He is a truly a very knowledgeable healthcare provider. Dr. Javid listen's to the needs of his patients whether the symptoms are physical or mental. He believes in giving the patient the type of care that he would like to receive. He does not believe in procrastination and will refer you as necessary to various specialist. It is very evident that Dr. Javid, has been in medicine multiple years because of the quality of care that administers.

I was trying to have labs draw in which were ordered by the doctor and was told that medicare would not cover my labs. I understood that, but when I called to check with my doctor I was met with a bad attitude with Melissa apparently because they were "short staffed". I expect as a patient to at least be able to receive medical advice from my physician when I need it!

Good luck trying to get a referral from this office staff. Have arrived to multiple doctor's appointments only to find out my referrals were never sent. A patient shouldn't have to constantly call them to make sure they are doing their jobs. Even then they still don't. It's sad and extremely stressful. Jasmine the referral lady is extremely rude as well.

Dr. Javed is a good doctor, but his office staff is horrendous. You only get a computer when you call his office. My husband called numerous times trying to set an appointment and no one would return his calls. He finally had to go into his office to get an appointment. After seeing the doctor, the staff was supposed to submit a referral to a G.I. doctor. 2 weeks later, the insurance company still had not received the referral request from the doctor's office. This has happened several times before. Again, they would not return his phone calls about the referral. We finally had to give up and switch doctors.
