Î’m looking for another doctor. Dr and his assistant are both arrogant, rude, and cold.

Dr. is arrogant, unprofessional and condescending and the staff reflects his attitude. Dr. gave me less than 10 mins of his time, repeatedly cut me off and pawned me off on his asst. who told me to google the procedure the Dr said I needed. Office staff left me in the waiting room for 1.20 hr and Mauritza called me a liar when I told that I had left a voice mail requesting an appt. (even though the call is on my phone call log). 4 calls to try to make appt and was told by Mauritza that even though I have an active infection, she wouldn't sched me until she rec'd all of the ppr work, even though I had already sent it. Abhorrent staff and worse DR!

Marc Beaghler is a rude dude! And he's not even a bonafide surgeon! Avoid him

I waited over an hour! He then spent very little time explaining the issues. Then sent in his female assistants to perform a "surprise" and painful catheterization, that gave me a horrible UTI, requiring antibiotics, which never happened to me before - and surely shouldn't happened with a staff trained by an experienced urologist! Previously he treated my kidney stones - and that went fine!

I have an auto transplanted kidney that has hydronephrosis and stones. I’ve been in pain for 5 months now and finally my primary care saw what was going on. I saw a nephrologist who sent me to the office of dr beaghler. First a resident doctor came in and was rude. He asked me why I was here which made me feel like I was in an interrogation. After explaining what’s been going on, he informed me he was not dr beaghler and that he’d go let him know what’s going on. I then waited and heard he and the resident talk outside the room about me and how I would have a test done etc. Personally I’d like to talk to my doctor one on one, not have it go through a grapevine before seeing him. Once he came in he told me I would have an ultrasound done and that was that. He basically saw me for 3 minutes and didn’t ask any questions. I asked if I should be careful with physical activity as I have noticed the pain increases after. He basically said that there is no way of knowing if my pain and the… hydronephrosis are related. I found that to be odd since it’s in the direct area of my kidney. When I checked out the woman asked me if he wanted to see me back, I had no idea since he pretty much was in and out of the room and only mentioned an ultrasound. She went and asked and told me he’s having 2 tests done, the ultrasound and a ct scan. This was the first I’ve head of the 2nd test. That test was never done because his office called it into a different radiology office than I was originally told. I tried calling and left 2 messages asking for a call back about the test and an appointment and never had a call back. I’ve never felt so alone and not taken care of by a doctor. I was living in Boston where there are some of the best doctors in the world who show genuine interest and care for their patients. Dr beaghler is obviously only in it for the money and tries to see as many patients as possible. This is probably why I wasn’t even seen by him at first, just his resident doctor. He also is slightly creepy, not friendly, and very arrogant. I recommend finding a doctor in LA, probably worth the drive.
