Marc S. Eisenberg, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Columbia University Medical Center and an Attending Physician at Columbia University Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He is a clinical cardiologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease in adults; specializing in cardiac stress testing and echocardiography. His clinical interests also include the accurate diagnosis and treatment of hypertension and evaluating the cardiovascular manifestations of hypertension. Dr. Eisenberg is a member of the ColumbiaDoctors Hypertension Center, a multi-disciplinary center of excellence that provides high-quality care and state-of-the-art diagnostic testing for patients with hypertension.
Dr. Eisenberg received his Doctor of Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in 1991. He completed his Post-Doctoral Residency and Fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr Eisenberg interrupts constantly to a point that you cannot express what you are experiencing. He does not listen or care to listen. He is way too quick and rash about opinions. I felt that I was NOT in good hands and now I have to go for a second opinion.

I'm young and that seemed to be all Dr Eisenberg was concerned with. I saw him about orthostatic tachycardia and he said that my heart rate reaching 140 during orthostatic vitals was normal. I had to convince him to put a monitor on me, something his staff thought was a no brainer. I would never recommend anyone see Dr Eisenberg especially if you arent a middle aged or older man.

Takes his time. Reviews everything in detail and has always been available for answering e mailed or phoned in questions between visits.

I am an 83 year old male in good overall health but suffered a concussion last summer. I was recommended to Dr Eisenberg who rearranged his schedule to see me immediately. His understanding, sensitivity and professionalism including the thoroughness of his examination was of great comfort to me and my family. Highly recommended.
