Dr. Marc Steven Goldman, MD

I've never been to a better doctor in my life. He is a super busy doctor who makes time for all of his patients. He is unbelievably educated and knows his stuff. He has practiced for many years and knows what best for each individual patient. Best doctor ever.

I saw Dr Goldman to have a neck fusion done. From the beginning he was very arrogant and matter of fact. His bedside manners were non-existent. My main symptom I was having was headaches. Dr Goldman was adamant that my neck wasn’t causing my headaches but did agree that it needed to be fixed. (My neurologist and orthopedic surgeon both thought the headaches were related). I got the surgery and the headaches went away. When I mentioned it to Dr Goldman you’d think he would be glad to hear I had relief but he had immediate attitude that he was wrong. A couple years later I was having neck issues again, after multiple images and physical therapy, a team of doctors concluded that I now needed to fuse another vertebrae. I went to see Dr Goldman for continuity of care since he did the first one successfully. He was so rude and in and out I decided to go to a different doctor. When I got back to North Carolina, 2 weeks later I called for a copy of the doctors notes and they told me he… hadn’t completed them yet. I tried every 2 weeks for 2 months and finally gave up. I guess unless he’s doing a surgery, he doesn’t understand the other parts about being a doctor. I’ve spoke to a couple other guys in the Military who had a similar encounter. Maybe he doesn’t like Military people for some reason. Who knows. No denying that he knows his stuff as a surgeon. Just an arrogant jerk who thinks he’s better than everyone. His PA is awesome though.

Made up his mind befire seeing me. Spent less than a minute reviewing mri. Diagnosis very misleading.

An excellent and very thorough doctor. I am two and 1/2 weeks out of fusion and am walking and feeling great. Dr. Goldman becomes your medical advocate and recommends to you only after he studies the testing. Thank you, Dr Goldman.

Dr Goldman, has a great reputation, however when I visited with him he did not impress me at all. He did not even attempt to communicate with me. I think I am an intelligent individual and can communicate with anyone. He did not even give me a chance. He wanted to operate, that was his solution to my problem. Operate, operate, operate, not one word of encouragement. No bedside manner at all. I went to him for a second opinion. I would never take one doctors opinion. My other surgeon was sure not as knife happy or money hungry as Goldman. The first doctor did give me encouragement that my problem could possibly fix its self with time. 50 - 50 chance. Goldman was all about rushing me to surgery...Please everyone get a second opinion....

Most deserving of a five star rating. Great in every way!

He is the best and saved me after years of searching. He is a true blessing.

I used Dr. Goldman for my back surgery back in 2001 and had remarkable results!!! If I ever need these type services again, I will go back to him and be confident of great results!!!!
