Marc Harrigan, MD

I have been seeing Dr Harrigan for a number of years. Reading these other reviews is saddening. The doctor is direct, personable and does not cur corners. Most of those writing these reviews are those who did not get what they wanted from him. He is thorough and tells you the truth even though it may not be what you want to hear. Admittedly, I was one of those who resisted and did not follow directions. As a result, I paid a price. I wish I had listened years ago. He is leaving his practice and will be missed by many including me. He is simply the best doctor I have ever had.

I wanted things to go my way and was annoyed when he insisted I do things different. When I realized he is concerned about my well being and recognized communication is a two way street I understood. He listens and gives pretty darn good advice. Also, thorough with his examinations.

My visits were much like that of another review. The 1st visit went ok. This person was horribly abrasive and offensive on the next visit. I left feeling abused, emotionally. Never again. Never had such a horrible experience from a professional relationship. This type of experience is one you remember for the rest of your life

The first visit with this doctor went well. On the next visit, I donâ??t know if he was having a bad day or what, but I was completely caught off guard, shocked and hurt by what I perceived to be an abrasive, controlling & demeaning bedside manner. He was not Iistening to me and I could not get a word in. I left his office feeling mentally, emotionally & psychologically beat down. In all my life, Iâ??ve never experienced anything like this in any physicianâ??s office. Will not be returning.

A few people in my family go to Dr. Harrigan. My first visit went well. When I told him of the symptoms I've been having, right away he gave me an answer & a referral to see a specialist. Hopefully, he is right because tomorrow, I have to go for my UGE procedure.

Good doctor for younger patients; older patients may not find complete satisfaction in their visit.
