Dr. Marcia Ann Krause, MD

Dr Krause would benefit from reading the latest research on addressing her patients from "A Health at Every Size (HAES) approach to address weight bias and stigma" As a fit 49 year old who participates in vigorous exercise 5-6 times a week, has a BMI of 25, I was told on my first visit "that maybe if I would lose weight my blood pressure would normalize". This was my visit visit with her, as my Gyne had retired, and I was visibly concerned about my BP. Her interview did not include any questions regarding personal history of eating disorder and instead of taking a weight neutral approach to her interviewing technique she went straight to "well you could lose weight". I have never had a provider cause me to weep during the rest of an exam. I politely asked for my records and will not be returning, nor will I be referring.

I was treated for ectopic pregnancy that resulted in a rupture fallopian tube and almost a chance of never being able to get pregnant again. This doctor is very irresponsible and very careless. I would never ever recommend this doctor to anyone. She has cost me so much pain and suffer. DO NOT TRUST HER JUDGMENT. She never took her time to really find out if the treatment was working, she would come inside the room and leave within 5 minutes. If you are looking a doctor that will actually care about you and invest spending some time in making sure that you are well taken care of this is not the doctor for you!!

She was an exceptional listener, took the time I needed and was very helpful..Her staff was kind and efficient- I highly recommend her

The wait and getting an appointment isn't difficult. The nurses promptly return your call and they follow up with the doctor if you have a question. Dr. Krause does what she needs to do medically but she shows very little effort in developing a relationship with her patients. she walks in and out of the room and doesn't sit back to listen to your questions. I had her for 5 years I just wanted to give her a chance but I just never felt personally cared for by her (her nurses were great though) If your looking for compassion and someone to take the time to listen to you and get to know you as a person and not just another patient number, she's not the best for this.

Dr. Krause refused to listen to my questions or consider alternate treatment options. She actually walked out of the appointment and told me I needed to go to a different doctor since it seemed that I had a lot of questions. I do not recommend her.
