Dr. Marco Alessandro Giannotti, MD

As he deleted my google review, here I am: A year ago, I had an emergency C-section due to preeclampsia with my own doctor, but my postpartum care was handled by Dr. Giannotti, who was on call that weekend. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Giannotti was traumatic and left me feeling unheard and disregarded. When I expressed concerns about my high blood pressure and history of postpartum depression, Dr. Giannotti redirected the conversation to my partner, effectively ignoring me and dismissing my worries. He informed me that my discharge order had already been issued by my primary care physician shortly after the C-section, and he was unable to contact him for further evaluation. Given the complexities of my emergency C-section due to preeclampsia, I questioned the thoroughness of my discharge evaluation. The trauma and distress from that experience have lingered, and I continue to struggle with anxiety, depression, and PTSD a year later. The lack of care and compassion from Dr.… Giannotti has had long-lasting effects on my mental and emotional well-being. I hope that by sharing my story, I can encourage Dr. Giannotti and other healthcare providers to prioritize patient-centered care, listen to their patients' concerns, and provide comprehensive support during vulnerable times. No woman should suffer in silence or be left to pick up the pieces alone.

my son was born on Aug 2018 I carefully looked for a good doctor because it will be my last baby after 7 years of looking for a baby. I put my trust on him and let him take care of my pregnancy the whole term. at the moment of the c-section he left the room, left the nurse close my c-section, hours later I develop a hemorrhage and lost a lot of blood, they took my to the OR when other doctor stop the bleeding )according to the doctor's word I was his 2nd case in 13 years) the other doctor in call saved my life, Giannotti never showed up not even call. the cause of my bleeding he left parts if the placenta inside when he performed a fast c-section. to make things worse Giannotti told me I was ready to go home after 5 days in the hospital and noticed they have left gausses inside me fro 2 days. thanks to Gad I didn't develop an infection. I have to stay another day extra in the hospital. my husband didn't sign the check out until they performance a Xray and be sure he didn't left… anything else inside me. it was a nightmare being with this doctor. nurses at the hospital were so mad and agreed with us how bad was his service and care aboiut his patients. months later he didn't even follow up with me after the c section and staples. he was my friend on face and deleted me and my husband never call or follow up with us. now Im seeing other doctor and he agrees that Dr Giannoti is just a butcher. if you can stay away fro, he please do it. It took me months to recover I comeback home color yellow, had 4 blood units and had the worse experience ever. He knows he did wrong and I've been searching and apparently Im not the only he had hurt with his practice. please stay away from him.

Dr. Giannotti is the best!! He stepped up when another Dr. wouldn't. I was living in so much pain and having minor surgeries for major problems year after year because my Dr. at the time would not do a hysterectomy simply because of my age. I lived in pain day in and day out and hardly able to walk, and a friend of mine ask me to give him a chance and go see him. I did that and once he received my medical records he called me up and met with me again to go over when I was ready to fix this. I have never been so happy or relieved to have him as a Dr. He is sweet and has the best bedside manor ever! #Team Giannotti

He is negligent. As a result of his negligence my son died. There is no one day that goes by with out suffering and pain because this man was negligent and lazy. He didnt follow the procotol when a pregnant woman has a virus to follow up closely the baby. One child dead is sufficient. He doesn't even know how to perform an up and down c-section. Choosing him was a painful desicion i will have to face the rest of my life. Glorified butcher!

Let my blood levels drop dangerously low. Was never informed about it until I almost fainted and was told at the ER I was anemic . They proceeded to say a level 5 of blood was "normal" all in an attempt to cover up for the "PRESTIGIOUS" dr. Not to mention my cesarean wasn't scheduled till 2 weeks later despite the obvious signs of labor. By a miracle of God my water broke. Dr Gionnatti didn't arrive until 2 hours later despite being aware I had maconia in my water. By another miracle my child wasn't affected. Don't know where all these hood reviews come from because I am aware of 2 more patients that had so much blood loss during their ceserean they almost didn't survive. Think twice before scheduling with him. I'm sure they filter out the reviews. He's so popular he doesn't have time to answer your questions. When I questioned him about my blood levels he became defensive and started using medical terms to be condescending. He ruined the birth of my only child

Besides being a very caring doctor, he is exceptionally easy to talk too- love his sense of humor!

Dr. Gionnatti is an excellent Gynecologist! He is very profressional, caring and passionate about his job. He make me feel welcome when I went in first my first time patient visit. I have never received that kind of treatment with any other Gynecologist. I Highly Recommend this Doctor! Awesome human Being!

While Dr. Giannotti is a compassionate physician, his office staff is terribly rude and very unprofessional. Overcharges are frequent, it is next to impossible to be refunded the amount owed back to patients. Customer service is non existent. There are plenty of physicians in the area who are as kind and competent as Dr. Giannotti who also have a professional staff. It is not worth the headache of dealing with his staff.

Made an appt. with Dr. Giannotti to have my IUD removed that a different doctor inserted last year. His bedside manner and professionalism were remarkable! Office was clean and his nurses and staff seemed very friendly. I had heard from several people that he is the best in the area, now I can see why he has that reputation. Best OBGYN I've seen....and I've had 3 kids delivered by 3 different doctors. I very highly recommend Dr. Giannotti!!
