Dr. Noel Christine Boyd, MD

I missed an appointment, didn't have the money to go, to be honest. Next thing I know, I'm being slapped with a $50.00 no-show fee. Couldn't afford the co-pay, can't afford this. So, I haven't been back. Next thing, she cuts off a prescription that is NOT EVEN near expiration with my pharmacy, which I need. Her only explanation with my pharmacy is, "I need to come see her." Yeah, that's NOT happening! So childish to resort to cutting off a much-needed medicine JUST so she can get her money. I'll do without it until I find a new Dr. Also, I'm contacting people to see what I can get done about this. It's a blatant abuse of her position as a "Physician">

I was scheduled for a biopsy in the office. Feet in stirrups, she inserted an instrument all the way THROUGH my cervix. I have a high tolerance for pain - but I screamed in pain. She exited and re-entered with same results. Then - she asks, “didn't you take the prescription for x days in order for this to be possible”? No one mentioned anything like this previously to me. There was no prescription mentioned prior to this appt. She asked that I get undressed and return in seven days after the prescription had time to soften and relax the cervix. Do you think I went back? NOOOO

Dr. Boyd acts like she cares, until you are gone. I have cysts one of my ovaries that are bursting. (Quite Painful) I was told to call her if I wasn’t getting better. Called and emailed. I wish I could put the emails on here. At that point I felt like a number, and that’s all you are there. All she sees is $$$. I talked to a nurse named Nina who reassured me she’d get to the bottom of it and call me back when the Dr came in. Did I hear a peep? Nope. I took some advice from my new gynecologist who said stay away from Kingwood doctors and Hospitals. Even if you are desperate DO NOT THINK SHE WILL HELP YOU.

I’ve known Dr Boyd for 15 years. I’ve worked with her in the hospital setting first as a recovery room nurse and for the past 6 years as a labor/delivery nurse. She cares about her patients to the upmost degree. She has a great relationship with all the nurses at the hospital and every few hours checks in with the nurses taking care of her patients. She listens to the nurses and we have a team approach to patient care. She delivers compassionate care and wants the absolute best care to be provided for her patients. Because I’ve witnessed the compassionate, skillful, and high expectations from the nurses when we are caring for her patients, I started to see Her personally as my Gynecologist. She has always taken time to answer questions, educate patients, call me or have one of the office staff team to return my call, text, patient portal message. She expects her patients to do their part in their own healthcare. I also wouldn’t hesitate to see any other doctor or nurse… practitioners in her office. When I go for an appointment the wait time is short unless she’s been called to the hospital to deliver a baby or check on one of her patients. I recommend her without hesitation to my friends, family, and women looking for an OB/GYN.

Worse doctor I have ever been too. The nurses are unprofessional and rude. The doctor does not care about your well being. The nurses said she never calls her patients as i asked to speak to the doctor. I went for pellets that cost me 350.00 and the doctor told me she would boost it if it was not working. She lied. Took my money. Never cared about how i was feeling. Why should she she already got my money. But what doctor doesn't talk to their patients first and last time in this place.

While I enjoy having Dr. Boyd as my ob/gyn, I am disappointed with the lack of organization and the process. I went for my appt on the 26th or 28th of Dec. 2018, I called as only part of my results showed and the other didn't. When I saw my results, called and left a message. Did not get a return call. Called again and asked to be call. I learned that prescriptions were called in for something I was unaware I had. No one communicated this to me. Asked them to please call it in at a specific drug store. They were suppose to call in two prescriptions, only one was called. Called and left a message, never got a return call. I learn I had something else. The gal tells me she is going to call the pharmacy. I confirm what pharmacy. I call the pharmacy, twice, the prescriptions never got called in. This is not the first time this has happened and not only to me. A friend who also is a patient has had similar experience. Results take long or someone just failed to do their job… by not calling upon receipt of results. How does one make a patient wait from the 28th of Dec. through the 18th of Jan. if they have something that can get worse if not taken care of? Respectfully, this is inexcusable! Things have to change, and actually they have, but not for the better.

If all you need is to have an annual and have no problems she is fine. This was my experience for 6 years as her patient. When I developed a problem and needed to work closely with her on a health care plan is when I became frustrated. I recently decided to leave her and find a new doctor. She is rude, condescending and doesn't like questions and rushes. Doesn't return your call even after calling her multiple times.

I love love love Dr Boyd! She is phenomenal!

I have been on birth control since I have birth to my son at Ft. Hood. I do not know how far along I am and scheduled an appointment the day after I had a positive pregnancy test. I'm 4'11" with a very small build. Once I got through all the paperwork, they said they thought I looked further than 20 weeks and would not see me. Then the nurse told me to fake a miscarriage and go to an emergency clinic to get an ultrasound to find out how far along I was. First, I had a positive test 3 weeks before their first available appointment. So, if I was 20 weeks, I wasn't when I made the appointment. Secondly, I found it repugnant a nurse would suggest I fake something so tragic as a miscarriage. I find myself very lucky to have never experienced one, while my mother has had a total of 7. My husband was furious and told them we were leaving immediately. I left in tears, concerned I would find no one who would give me medical care for my unborn child. Terrible experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Boyd for several years, yet I have recently seen some very unprofessional attributes of of the doctor. She is located in a beautiful office, yet the attitude of her staff is rude and unpleasant. I will no longer be calling Dr. Boyd my physician, and I will not be recommending her.
