You will wait 45 minutes to 90 minutes for EVERY appointment. But if you are 15 minutes late to arrive, you will be charged for the appointment and told to reschedule.

Unprofessional and doesn't want to listen. I was very upset as his office staff is rude, he doesn't have time and wants to bill my insurance only. Very arrogant and aggressive. He is interested in money only. In 5 minutes, he gave be prescription with ton of pills!

I have Schizoeffective Disorder and went to Dr. Renazco for about 2 and half years. I should have left sooner but was not thinking clear enough to do so because He did not medicate me right. This Doctor did not care that the medication caused disabling side effects. When I complained about the medicine He told me I would be stuck with going back to another medication that had caused a huge amount of weight gain. I now have another psychiatrist that gave me a medication that has been out for 4 years that I feel normal on. This Doctor never told me such a medication existed. All He cares about is that you take the medication He prescribes and does not care how you feel on it. He does not want your input about how you feel on anything. I got to the point that I did not trust him and would not tell him how I felt because I was worried that he would increase the dose on a medication that wasn't working in the first place. Do not go to this Doctor He does not know what He is doing. … I feel happy for the first time in years with my new Psychiatrist, it is a miracle .

I took my 13 year old boy to see this MD 3 times for ADHD. After the 3rd time, I decided that this MD is not one of the best in his specialty. The main complaint I had was his routine for talk/therapy sessions with my son. Each visit included a 30min block. He would visit with my son alone for 15 min. and then call the parent(s) into the room for the remaining time with the child present to follow up what he and my son talked about. What the Dr. should include is time allotted with the parent(s) only, that is, without the child in the room to discuss any issues or concerns that the parent may not want his/her kid to hear, at least, not at that moment. The reality is sometimes kids say what you want to hear, which was my son's case, and the doctor would just assume that he was telling the truth (e.g. he's doing well on the medication and in school). My wife and I tried to bring up this point while my child was present, but the doctor seemed uninterested and in a hurry to finish… the appointment. The bottom line is I would not recommend him to anyone else. We have transferred to another Psychiatrist in the area.

Dr. Renazco appears friendly at first, but in time he turns into an insensitive, cold and time- (his) oriented individual. I would not recommend him to care for your health. There are real professionals elsewhere.

Dr Renazco is one of the worst doctors I ever been to.

Dr. Marco Renazco has been my psychiatrist for 3+ years. We meet 3 to 6 times annually to manage my health. He's excellent in every and a fine human being; grounded, smart, compassionate and caring. So long as he is in Katy, he will remain my doc. Highly recommended.
