Dr. Marcus Robert Kret, MD

This is my Personal Experience and Opinion Dr Kret is very arrogant, egotistical, unethical, very condescending, & Rude has no bedside manor whatsoever. When a patient is going through a rough time, I felt like I was just another piece of meat to put on a slab to do surgery on. Even though I have not had my surgery done yet he has no compassion at all & no Understanding. I have never met a doctor that looks at his watch and tells me I have 2 minutes to talk and ask questions and would not recommend this doctor to anyone. If I could rate this Doctor less than one I would.

I would give less than one star if I could. I went to Dr. Marcus Kret with concerns about lipedema—a lifetime of extreme pain and swelling in my legs, now affecting my arms, previously diagnosed by an endocrinologist and physical therapist specializing in lipedema. Despite explaining that these symptoms persist even with weight loss, he completely dismissed them, stating “it’s just fat” and blaming my BMI. He stated he does not believe in lipedema, its just fat. When I asked about the pain and swelling, he claimed these symptoms would improve once my weight went down, even though I have already lost weight and the symptoms persist. He looked at me blankly and suggested I speak to my primary doctor about weight loss options. He stated he is a vascular surgeon and my veins were fine. As a vascular surgeon, he should be aware of lipedema and should not gaslight or dismiss patients with clear, long-term medical concerns. This was not just bad bedside manner—it was professional… negligence. He was completely dismissive, did not even say goodbye, and left the room abruptly. I am reporting him to the Colorado Medical Board and every other relevant authority. Patients deserve to be heard and properly evaluated. His ignorance and rudeness are detrimental to the medical community. Absolutely horrific doctor.

Completely apathetic, both times I saw him he seemed to want to make things as short as possible and by sure I mean he would have been happy if he was gone after a couple of minutes. He told me that I definitely did not have thoracic outlet syndrome. I asked a series of questions basically asking what my options were if there is anything I could do and his response with always the same, which was that there is nothing that I could do. Lo and behold, a couple of months later I decided to give it another shot with a different doctor who ordered a couple of tests to diagnose my condition because she actually cared. The CT scan just came back and confirmed that I had thoractic outlet syndrome. This issue is one of the biggest problems in my life. It affects me every day. If I had taken this doctor at his word I would have been handicapped for the rest of my life. My advice to him is if you don't care about your patients than you should not be medicine

If Dr. Kret is not already considered one of the greatest Doctors in our country he should be. He has gone above and beyond for me and continues to do so, I know I'm not an easy case. He really does care. His staff is absolutely incredible too. I'm so glad to have them on my team.

If Dr. Kret isnt considered one of the greatest surgeons already he should be. , he is very passionate about his work and truly cares about his patients, I could not have asked for a better Doctor.
