Dr. Marcus Aldomiro Pelucio, MD

Best doctor I've had. He brought me out of a state of deep depression, panic disorder and 4 years of insomnia. I have been seeing him since 2018. He waits to just give you any diagnosis in the first month you are treated, but instead listens and cares and is a big believer in therapy. He listens and is on your side. He helped save my life. And yes he tells you like it is, which is exactly what must be done in these cases. If you work in the healthcare field (as I do) you know the best doctors do this as opposed to medical fluff.

He is the rudest, uncaring psychiatrist ive ever dealt with. These people giving him 5 star reviews are crazy. He spends all of 3 minutes with you. If you complain about side effects or a medication making you feel bad he gets arrogant and nasty. Ive found a new psychiatrist who is absolutely amazing. So happy i left these people

Dr. Pelucio is a very intelligent and thorough doctor. He asks lots of questions and explains everything in detail. Not many doctors will do that these days. I also find him to be very empathetic, even at the first visit. At the same time, he is factual and direct, so those that need their hand held, ego stroked, or are offended by a valid diagnosis may not prefer him. He tells the truth and some of these reviewers giving poor ratings may not have wanted to hear that. This doctor is worth every penny!

Dr. Pelucio saw me 2 times for a total of 45 minutes. After those 2 sessions, he diagnosed me as bipolar. I had 2 second opinions and it turns out I am not even remotely close to being bipolar. Please steer clear from this guy.

horrible bedside manner. Saw this "doctor" a few times for anxiety at $250 a pop. Was having an episode of panic attacks and needed an emergency appointment. He was in the office that day but refused to see me and refused to even get on the phone. Wanted me to make an appointment....this is an emergency and I don't always have the luxury of waiting days for an appointment when I'm in pain and distress. A "doctor" with no compassion. Needless to say I am no longer a patient.

When I first went to him yes his visit was short I thought he was kind of rude but as I can't going to him that's just his personality you can tell him something in a few words and he knows what to do he's not interrupting or not listening, he just knows his profession and is a very very smart intelligent doctor he does not put up with any bull crap he knows it when he sees it , he will help you if you won't the help he is awesome the other bad reviews are probably people who were wanting meds that he knew were bad for them or disapproved of them and they are mad as far as a doctor he is very smart intelligent man, gracious Dr. Palacio even tries to help X Addicts now come on what other doctors do that ?????? not a lot!!!!! keep up the good work dr. Palacio

I do not want to give details, but everything negative that you read about "Doctor" Pelucio is TRUE !

This doctor should find another profession, outside of the medical field. I saw him for a sleep issue - he misdiagnosed me, and gave me medicines that I didn't want to take. When I complained of side effects and how horrible they made me feel, he would just add something else, or switch-it-all up. My body felt worse than when I started seeing him. Also, don't ask him a question, or info on side effects - not only will he not know, he will be angry, cold and rude -since you asked. He spends 3-5 minutes with you writing scripts- only. Horrible bedside manner and overall person -especially as a medical doctor.

Dr. Marcus Pelucio did not help me. He did not answer my questions, he was condescending and probably realizes his patients aren't likely to go venting about a very poor doctor's appointment... with their psychiatrist. So he gets away with it, I guess. Respect yourself and your time and sanity and do not seek treatment (abuse) from this doctor.

I saw this Dr. about 3 years ago - I had been on Wellbutrin for several years and felt I needed a change. He was not rude or abusive but he never looked at me and always had short answers to my questions and he liked writing prescrips. I weigh a little over 100 pounds and he prescribed FOUR tablets of Effexor built up gradually. I called back after a few days and said that I was having difficulty with the effects of the meds - all he said was to keep taking it for a couple of weeks and my body would adjust. I left on a 10 hour road trip - alone - to visit family and half way into the trip i became very shaky and so paranoid that I thought the other cars were trying to run into me and I would slow down almost pull off the interstate. My heart was beating out of my chest and I had tunnel vision. I knew enough to know I shouldn't be driving so I called 911 and told them what was happening to me and why and thank God the police found me and took me to the hospital, waited until I was… checked out and the meds started wearing off and then they drove me to a hotel to sleep it off. When I called the doctors office the nurse was very kind and concerned. She told the dr. what had happened and his message was for me to come in to see him when I got back in town. I never went back.
