Dr. Wheeler went out of his way to help my wife and I after she had a seizure. I trust his advice and expertise.

why is this dr still at this facility? wow from setting up an appointment the staff is rude and you cant ask questions. After all, i know nothing and they know everything. I should have realized that! Just come in and let us tell you what is wrong with your son. dont ask questions, just accept everything we tell you. When we first saw Dr. Wheeler for our son's severe POTS/dysautonomia condition that put him in a wheelchair, he was encouraging and eager to help him however he could. However, when we returned for the second visit with no improvement to our son's health, he told us it was our son's fault for the lack of improvement and that it was a psychological issue. He said we needed to get him into a psychologist to see improvement. We were beyond angry. We feel that in his lack of knowledge of the diagnosis, he allowed his pride to get in the way and he wanted nothing to do with our case. We now have an excellent doctor in Washington DC who confirmed the severity of our son's condition and has the knowledge and compassion needed. Our son has been walking for almost two years because he was willing to work with our son on prescriptions and treatment confirming that this was truly a nervous system disorder and not in our "son's head". I highly recommend seeking a different pediatric neurologist.… We were so disappointed in Dr. Wheeler's professionalism and lack of care.

I recently took my daughter to Dr. Wheeler and have never had a more horrible experience. I drove two hours and took the day off of work and he had no interest in treating her or in listening to what I had to say. Even worse there was a child in his waiting room who had just suffered a seizure. The mother was in an absolute panic and his staff could not have been more rude to her. She asked for a wheel chair and she literally had to put him in and take him outside to her car to take his vitals. The staff did not offer any help. He should not be practicing medicine and his staff should all be fired for how they treated this woman. I was literally fighting back tears for what she must be going through. My recommendation is take your child out of state rather than taking them to see Dr. Wheeler!

I'm not even entirely sure why he is in this field. I am not sure he even likes children let alone wants to treat their neurological conditions.

Dr.Wheeler has shown us nothing but extremely horrible care for my 1 year old daughter. He was very disconnected and non responsive with her medical care. Every time my daughter went into the hospital, he was notified, yet he was no where to be found and never returned calls. My daughter has had a few procedures done and did not get any communication with her doctor. Dr. Wheeler, refused to see my daughter at her last doctors appointment,when he said we were "10 minutes late for her appointment". Yet the Great Falls clinic manger stated the problem began at 1:08pm. our appointment was at 1pm. Dr. Wheeler would not come out to address us as adults and only sent out his poor MA to do his dirty work. Dr.wheeler either has to much of a case load for children or he just does not have enough passion for his career to help the amount of children he has. I am extremely dissatisfied with my daughters care and WILL NOT be referring or recommending him to anyone in the future.
