Dr. Margaret Colleran, MD

Dr. Colleran was my Internist and from the first day i saw her i explained to her I had cancer and suffered from severe depression. Due to the covid 19 epidemic, i was feeling extremely sad n couldn't stop crying. I haven't seen my kids and grandchildrens in almost a year. She recommended i see a psychologist. I did so n this doctor is kind and listened to me. She was a great help. She increased my dosage and i was feeling fine. On a friday i noted I was running out of meds and became frantic since my psychiatrist is closed on fridays. I called Dr. Colleran to get a refill since i was running out but her nurse Theresa wouldn't let me talk to her. I begged her to please just issue the refill and to look at my records so she can see my psychiatrist information. She wouldn't budge. I became frantic and couldn't stop crying. My husband tried talking to her to no avail. Three days later I had a scheduled appointment with Dr Colleran and when i called to confirm i was told my appointment was… canceled and that a letter from the doctor will be arriving. The letter stated she no longer wished to see me and to find another doctor. I was so broken. I couldn't believe this doctor was so cold and couldn't comprehend how people like me that suffers from depression need help from their doctor especially at a time like this. This woman shouldn't be practicing medicine. No heart or ethics.

Dr. Margaret Colleran was so caring and compassionate when I was there for my appointment. I came in worry about my illness and she spend time with me to explain my condition and I left feeling 100% confident that my medical issue would turn out ok.

Dr. Colleran takes the time to listen. she is warm and compassionate.

Dr Colleran has an excellent bedside manner and is very calming. I also feel she is an excellent diagnostician . I would surely recommend her to my friends.

Dr. Colleran diagnosed my so called sinus infections as migraines, and I was finally able to get relief from the pain. I could identify triggers and take the appropriate medicine.
