Dr. Margaret M Kotz, DO

Dr Kotz should not be treating patients. Period. Her 'intake staff' are rude and disrespectful in every way. The person who did my initial interview should be dismissed from her position. She did not listen or believe anything I said. Thus, when I finally was granted an audience with the esteemed Dr. Kotz ,she had already formed her opinion, from her unknowledgable and disgraceful assistant. There was no point in continuing the appointment, as she never listened to my issues. Her knowledge of addiction is not current and her treatments are dated. I believe this has to do with her interests in other areas of healthcare, which are only to benefit her career....not the patients. I found her to be cold and unsympathetic. This is not what a person needs with these issues. As I said, she should not be treating patients clinically. Look elsewhere....trust me!

If your looking to get suboxone, do not go through dr. Kotz. She thinks shes god with her little prescription pad. Once your on suboxone the Dr controls your life literally. If you miss an AA meeting or any other oops your not getting your script. Oh yeah its costs thousands of dollars. Please reconsider your options. IMO its all about the money

Dr. Kotz is current on knowledge of the addiction field,competent in recognizing disease symptoms, tactful in identifying, excellent in helping with follow through on next steps of recovery.She concentrates with remarkable focus during sessions, listens diagnostically and remembers discussions and follow up. She is empathic and purposeful. Work is accomplished each session.
