Dr. Margaret Ann Mulligan, MD

I had a few car accidents close together that resulted in small disc herniations, concussion and fibromyalgia pain. I'm young and I was seen as someone who was a hypochondriac. I was told that healthy people don't come to see doctors, your young, why are you telling us you have pain when you don't have any reason for it. I found I was treated this way unilaterally through most of the practice as if they sat around and decided I was faking. I later had a really bad flu where my mother wanted to help me. It caused my nerve pain to increase. She called for help and was advised to ignore me. I have dealt with chronic pain since and have done physical therapy only to end up needing a 3 level cervical spine fusion because the discs slipped out so far they were pushing on my spinal cord almost paralyzing me. Being treated that way by several doctors there was horrible and unprofessional to say the least. I would leave in tears every time wondering if maybe it was in my head. I would not… recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Mulligan has an exceptional bedside manner, is a great listener, and despite my overwhelming fear of doctors, is a pleasure to see. The only issue with the practice is that I have repeatedly experienced prescription refill errors. For some reason, nobody there seems able to accurately call in a medication that's already been prescribed. That's very frustrating. Otherwise, fantastic doctor, and an above average practice.

I've gone to Dr. Mulligan for around 15 years now and really like her. I like that she thinks of alternatives instead of just writing out perscriptions and sending me on my way.
