Dr. Margaret Susan Park, MD

I went to see Dr Park for pain in my leg just above the ankle. I told her “I think I have a stress fracture!” She adamantly insisted it was a soft tissue injury and that icing and continued use would help with pain and healing. Despite persistent pain, she maintained this assertion. I begged for imaging. I begged for an ortho referral. I was finally granted an MRI after 5+ weeks of “treatment.” She called me with the results. “It’s just what we suspected! There’s a fracture across your anterior distal tibia!” The very definition of gaslighting. The story of her terrible care and poor treatment of and communication with patients neither starts nor stops there, but this was BAD. Being told to walk around on a broken leg for nearly six weeks and then being told by her that she did everything right…. Unconscionable. No apology from her though the ortho did apologize and say it should have been detected much earlier. Stay away from Dr Margaret Park.
