Dr. Margherita Santoro, DDS

We recently moved to this area and asked our neighbors about an orthodontist we could trust. Our daughter was already in braces placed â??in Baltimore by our family orthodontist, and needed to continue treatment. We went for a couple of consultations based on local recommendations. After a while we became truly confused about the different ways to correct the overbite. We were told by a doctor that much more treatment was needed, linked to a new high fee. Until we went to Dr. Santoro. She was very clear and explained principles simply and in logical sequence. She never criticized the work done by our old orthodontist. We thought she was very professional and reassuring. She was very helpful in explaining all future steps. We feel welcome in her office every time we go, and my daughter is also having a great experience and finding new friends there.

I cannot begin to describe how welcome my son and I felt once we went to Dr. Santoros' office. We were greeted with warm smiles and were given the red carpet treatment! I have read reviews from other patients and while I concur with the very satisfied patients, I can only surmise the negative comments posted are from very disgruntled housewives who see women in assertive roles as a threat and truly have nothing better to do than to be nasty, so shame on you for slandering a wonderful office with excellent personnel and a more than qualified board certified orthodontist. It is evident the naysayers have very little going on in their lives that would give them just cause to launch such an outlandish verbal attack on a stellar office. I highly recommend Dr. Santoro to any patient in need of orthodontic care.

With three children in and now out of braces we have beautiful smiles and nothing but great things to say about our experience with Dr. Santoro. Dr. Santoro and her office staff were always polite and knowledgable and ready to accommodate. My children have beautiful teeth and that is why you go to an orthodontist right?

I have been a patient of Dr. Santoro for about a year now, after having brought my daughter to the office for treatment. I was so happy with her smile after braces came off that I decided to have my Invisalign done, and so far the results are excellent. The office is friendly and the doctor very nice. She has a great quirky sense of humor. I was a bit afraid of dentists and went for several consultations before starting, but the doctor answered all my questions with patience and confidence, not rushing until I was ready for a decision to start. I work full time and the office is always on time and open all week, so it is easy to manage appointments.

We finally found an office were the doctor cares about spending time with the patients. The staff is friendly and available all the time. Finally we have an office were broken wires can be easily fixed without worrying about a tight schedule.

My two girls have gone to Dr. Santoro for several years. The office is not very flexible about scheduling appointments. She insisted that one my girls need to be taken out of school for a hour in order to remove her braces. Why should she be interrupted during her school time? She doesn't seem to be understanding and willing to work with you. The receptionist and Dr. Santoro needs to work on their customer service. They can be rude and defensive at times. I am planning on going somewhere else.

Absolutely terrible! Do not go there, go to another Orthodontist!!!
