Dr. Marguerite Remy Garofalo, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Marguerite. She has been my primary for years. She listens and takes prompt actions (testing, etc) to diagnose. Dr. Marguerite has also been very responsive on the portal. Her office staff has always been friendly and professional.

I really don't want to get into specifics but let's just say every previous comment by others is valid. Went to her looking for a woman doctor. Initially thought she was good. As time went on, I found she wasn't really "listening" to me. Staff is horrific as detailed by others. Ultimately I had an experience similar to the kidney stone patient (although mine wasn't kidney stones) and it was the final straw. They charge $25 to move your records to a new doctor. You can find better. Average

I have been seeing Dr. Margo for a few years. Each time I visit she takes time to listen to my health concerns and answers my questions. I feel she truly cares about her patients.

I have been seeing Dr. Margo Garofalo for a number of years as have both of my daughters, and soon my granddqughter. We followed Dr. Garofalo from a prior practice group as She is one of the most competent physicians I have come across in years. Dr. Margo is personable and makes you feel relaxed and not uptight when you visit. Kudos to Dr. Margo and her staff, I would recommend them to everyone.CB

Dr Garofalo's staff is the worst gaggle of office support people I've ever encountered. Not only are they sloppy as far as record keeping, they repeatedly fail to coordinate information among themselves. Worst of all, when they do make such a mistake, they are accusatory of the patient and try to blame them for their own omissions. It is also not very reassuring that most of them have weight issues--it is a doctor's office, after all!

She has gotten me trough some difficult illnesses and I can honestly say my life would be vastly changed were it not for her diagnosis of a rare drug side effect. I feel as though I have a Doctor who truly listens to what I am saying and that is sometimes not easy for female patients to find. I highly recommend her.

I do not find Dr. Garofalo a caring doctor at all. I was having alot of pain from kidney stones. After being in the emergency room for the kidney stones the ER doctor told me that if i needed more pain meds to go see my primary care. Dr. Garofalo made me come all the way to her office, made me wait more than a half an hour. When i finally did see her she only called me into the office to give me a medicine for my kidney stones that I was told in the ER doesn't work! She told me if I had not passed the stone in 2 days she would give me the pain meds. Well 2 days later I still hadn't passed the stone and when I went to get pain meds from Dr. Garofalo she wouldn't give them to me!! She wouldn't even come out in the waiting room to talk to my Husband & I, she kept having her nurse do her dirty work! I had told Dr. Garofalo's nurse that i had a five hour kidney stone attack the night before and that i had wound up in the ER. Instead of taking me into an examining room as any caring doctor… would, she told her nurse to tell me that if i needed pain medication, then i should go to the ER. When i told the nurse that i was there the night before, she went back and relayed the message. The nurse came back and told me that Dr. Garofalo was afraid that there was a blockage and that I should go to the ER. I did wind up going to the ER, and when I told the ER doctors that Dr. Garofalo sent me back they were very put out as I was. She not only lied to me and played games with me but she also did not seem to care about my pain at all. She was suppost to take care of the pain medication not the ER Doctors. I thank god those wonderful ER Doctors felt so bad for me and that they could see how unprofessional Dr. Garofalo is. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy!
