Dr. Maria E Alexianu, MD

After multiple hospitalizations and a plethora of infections and other illness, Dr. Alexianu found the cause and prescribed treatment which has enhanced the quality of my life by 90 %. At least 4 other physicians attempted to locate the cause of illness....and none were successful. She prescribed a treatment that none of the other doctors agreed with. I listened to her advice and began the therapeutic prescriptions and the infections subsided by 90%. When I decided to terminate the treatments I received a miserable case of pneumonia and at that point even my reluctant pulmonary doctor suggested that Dr. Alexianu was correct. I resumed treatment and it has been several months that I have managed to stay well at a time when the flu and pneumonia are flooding physicians' offices. Dr Alexianu is a solution hunter . Her thinking goes way beyond the limited box of most other doctors. I am so grateful to her.

I agree with what folks are saying. She listens, explains, has patience and I feel 100% better, because I listened to her. Her staff is very accommodating also.

I would highly recommend any family and friends to see Dr. Alexianu! She is very patient, understanding, kind, she asks alot of questions to gain insight as to what is happening to you the patient. Explains in great detail.

Dr.Took her time and listened to my history, family and background carefully. I was sick of drs tellling me what I had without hearing full symtoms or re past tests/family history. She seemed quiet, but then I realized she was intent and listening an analizing me for ME. We all present differently re nero issues. She even covered an issue re vitiman D deficency and w/my ok talked to my Cardio with a quesion. She looks at whole person and very, very smart...kind too. Best & not rushed. Wonderful Dr., should be more like her!

Dr.Alexianu saved me from a surgery.After 3 years being treated by otherdoctors I was getting worst. The fact is a was never diagnosed properly. When things got really bad I was referred to HSS in NY for a surgery. Looking for second opinionI found Dr.Alexianu and instead of surgery she prescribed me a proper treatment. After3 years I am stable and happy!
