Dr. Maria Catalano, NP

Maria Catalano is a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in both family medicine and psychiatric mental health care. She earned her master’s in nursing practice at the University of Tampa and began her career delivering comprehensive primary care to individuals in long-term care settings as well as within their homes. During this time, she observed a profound and growing need for accessible, compassionate, and effective mental health services- an unmet need that inspired her to pursue advanced training in psychiatric care.Motivated by a commitment to provide truly integrative care, Maria obtained a postgraduate program at Florida State University to obtain her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification. Her current practice is grounded in a holistic philosophy that considers the complex interplay between mind, body, and environment.
