What she did: thourough, got my old records, careful exam, explained my medications and listened. I knew things were going to get better after the first visit and they did. Spent time figuring me out. After 2 visits with her I had more time with an actual doc than in the 5 years since I was diagnosed.

The staff working for this doctor is bottom tier. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to even start a discussion with this doctor and was patronized along the way. Constant interruptions and being talked down to.

Shoulder Pain - Dr Francis spend one hour to understand the cause of my shoulder pain, current treatments and situations that make it worse. She was very thorough. My next visit will be for an MRI. Thank you for your professionalism.

I went to see Dr Francis re: shoulder pain. She did a thorough "head to toe" exam and then focused on my shoulder. This took a considerable amount of time and I was quite surprised at the effort put in to the exam. There are follow up steps - an MRI - to reach a more conclusive diagnosis. I will go back to see Dr Francis as she spent more time with me than any other Dr I saw regarding this matter. Thank you.

WORST doctor ever!! Do not go to her. She should not be in practice. She lacks patience and understanding. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

Dr. Francis has the absolute worst support staff in the Burr Ridge office and for that reason i will never return. A good Dr. has a great support staff!

If you want to be misdiagnosed, go to Dr. Francis. I went to her about two years ago. I have Systemic Lupus. I was diagnosed at 13 and I have had it for 45 years. My doctor I was seeing at University of Chicago left her practice and was told to go to Dr Francis. I saw her about 4 times. Every time I saw her, she did blood tests. She told me that I did not have Lupus and that she would not give me the prednisone that I have been taking for over 40 years. She said that if I don't have Lupus, why should she give it to me.I think she thought I was ( making it up for some reason). I told her to call my old doctors to verify that I have Lupus and I have had some terrible attacks of it throughout my life. She told me that she doesn't have to. She knows better! She has embarrassed me in front of her students to make me look like I was nut case! I left her to try to find another doctor. In the mean time, I suffered from mini strokes caused by my Lupus. The doctors asked me why I wasn't on… prednisone? I told them about her. If she listened to me I would be on the drug and would not have had the strokes! I had to dish out about ten thousand out of my own pocket to pay all the doctor and hospital bills. I should have sewed her but I did not want to go through the mental and physical mess. My true opinion , DONT GO TO HER!!,!!

Dr. Francis is one of the most caring doctors I have seen. She takes the time to explain things and makes sure you understand. She really knows her stuff, too.

Dr Francis is one of a kind.. she listens and takes what you say into consideration..,when I say she listens, she really does..while under her care I have no flare ups..

money is more important to this office then the patient. I'm being refused an appointment because of $116.00 bill I owe
