I have no problem with Dr. Garcia, but her staff is so rude and utterly disgusting. Diane has screwed up more of my appointments than I care to think about and Bee is condescending and a nasty human being. I had to drive to the office because Diane did not send a document she promised to send 8 days prior. I encountered Bee who ignored me for the first five minutes I stood at the window, then turned on me like a demon because I asked for a few minutes of her time. She gave me the wrong document, then lectured me! How dare her. I wouldn't be at the office bothering her if Diane had done her job. This office is straight out of a Stephen King novel. Dr. Garcia, they are ruining your practice. Please, get new staff in there pronto!! I only gave you 4 stars because of these "she devils".

I have had a very positive experience with Dr. Garcia. I find her thorough, knowledgeable, caring, and concerned about my health. I am seeing her for a thyroid nodule condition. I would definitely recommend her to others. Plus the office wait time is about 5 minutes. Very rare!

I know that my first appointment was hard to get, but there after has not. She is very nice and has even called me from home. I have not had the same experience from the staff that everyone is talking about. I get calls from them and have not been treated with anything but respect.

I have been to several other endocrinologists and she was by far the least friendly. She actually insulted me during the examine by making a jibe at my skin color. I really hope you read this Dr. Garcia. You offended me. If I knew how to take this up with the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, I would. Dr. Garcia also debated with me about my illness and whether or not I actually had it. Guess what, I do. I have documents proving so. Unprofessional, rude, and offensive.

Her assistant consistently "lectures" me, a grown adult, as if I were 10 yrs old. Does not work with my needs, rather demands my schedule and needs conform to their office. The office staff ruin this practice for Dr. Garcia; she is a good doctor but poor office manager who needs to replace her 2 staff members with kinder, more caring people. Would never recommend to anyone!!

Incredibly unprofessional and rude staff! After waiting 2 months for an appointment and taking a 1/2 day off work in DC to drive to Alexandria for it, I was turned away before even seeing or speaking with the doctor. After filling out the new patient forms, the staff asked why I was there (even though I had already been through that with them on the phone 2 months prior). Even though I had a referral from another specialist, the staff decided that I didn't need an endocrinologist and sent me away telling me I needed a diagnosis to be seen by the doctor (my other specialist sent me to the endocrinologist hoping for a diagnosis). If this office didn't think I should be seeing an endocrinologist in the first place, they should have told me that over the phone instead of costing me sick time and wages!

A dismal failure. Staff is rude and inefficient. Getting an appointment is impossible even though the office never seems busy. The office is not flexible, caring, or understanding. Would never reccomend.
