Dr. Maria Milagros Munoz, MD

Dr. Munoz delivered my first born at 36 weeks due to complications with pre eclampsia. He was terribly jaundiced 4 days later and she helped me get a pediatrician to take care of my son who ultimately needed a transfusion. I was a young mom, not working and Dr Munoz used to set me up with samples of birth control because she knew I couldn't afford them. This was nearly 40 yrs ago. I have very fond memories of her as my doctor and as a human being.

Not an attentive or caring doctor. Basically runs a cash only clinic. My baby almost died.

This was my first pap and I was already uncomfortable plus a little scared yet she managed to make this experience worse. She was very condescending and felt as though she was entitled to give her NON-medical opinion. She shamed me for my decisions on my personal life and constantly expressed them with disgust. She kept yelling at me and pushed my legs wider without giving me instruction. She was also late to the appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 7am and she didn't come into the office until 8am. Once the appointment started it became clear to me that she has very old school theories about how a woman should handle her sex life. I don't recommend her to anyone that has found freedom in their sexuality and who doesn't want to feel like they are being "sl*t-shamed" and belittled.

Dr Munoz is one of the best doctors there is. Very professional. I highly recommend her.

If you've had a history of miscarriages or preterm labor this is the wrong doctor to go to. I had 1 first trimester miscarriage and 3 preterm births. Did not give me the proper care or diagnosis. I went into labor at 21 weeks never did she do an ultrasound or a referral to a high risk specialist. With my history of preterm labor she never gave me an option of a cerclage, i just feel she could've done more and my daughter could've been here today.

I honestly wish I would give her 0 stars! She is far from a star. I saw her in the very beginning of my pregnancy and it was the worst experience ever. The office is very small with no magazines and a bunch of sad looking women mostly Latina. I always wondered why she had only type of clientele, and it became clear, she is nicer to Spanish speaking women. ''DR'' Munoz never said hi how's going, or tried to make conversation and left the room without saying see you next week or anything. I remember just sitting there like '' Am I able to leave yet''? The nurses are just as bad! They act like they don't wanna there, and roll their eyes at everything. I had some spotting one early morning and decided to call her like any responsible mother would do. She belittled me and was saying why didn't I wait til the clinic opened and don't call her so early. I remembered just hanging up and crying because of her lack of compassion! Bleeding in pregnancy is obviously an emergency and I would… never wait another minute because she needs her beauty sleep! After that whole incident I had enough and found a new doctor. Little did I know Dr. Munoz would come back to haunt me like a demon! My new OBGYN got the records from her office and there was a little surprise in store for me. She wrote I was on drugs and on methadone. Now I am very honest woman and if I was on that OBVIOUSLY I WOULD TELL MY NEW OB! I NEVER EVER touched heroin in my life. That is so sad and ignorant that she would spread lies about me. I mean where did she get that from. My blood test obviously showed I was 100% clean, so that proves Misses Munoz is a big liar! Retire already, since you seem not happy about your job or life in general.

I had an absolutely horrible experience in Dr. Munoz office, and would never recommend her to friends or family. It started with me having a panic attack in the waiting room, right in front of the receptionist. I was never asked if I was alright, and no one offered to help. After an hour wait, I met with Dr. Munoz, who was incredibly condescending, insulting, and continually belittled me and my previous doctor during the entire meeting. After refusing to subject to a blood draw, I was told I was told I didn't have a choice, and was "going to have to do it anyway". The nurse was not sufficiently trained, and left me with a sore wrist, large bruises, and soreness in my hand that lasted for days, and interfered with work and daily activities. I was told I would get a call back in a few days with my test results, which i never received. I have issued a formal complaint to Dr. Munoz, and do not plan to return. I have never been treated with so much disrespect by a medical… "professional."

Dr Maria Munoz should NOT be licensed. I was a patient of hers. I experience a miscarriage, when I called her on her emergency line explaining my symptoms she told me over and over again that i was over reacting and that what i was experiencing was normal. After 4 frustrating calls to her I decided to take matters into my own hands and rush myself to the ER, where I was told I was experiencing a miscarriage and possible etopic pregnancy. I feel Dr Maria Munoz is a negligent dr and shouldnt be advising anyone of any medical conditions. Also - the wait time in her office. OUT OF CONTROL!!! Hours of waiting to sit there for 5 min and feel like your not truely being treated as a patient. But yet she is quick to take those payments. TOTALLY SHADY DR! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE!

Dr. Munoz has been my doctor since 1987 and I have the utmost respect and trust in her. She is a very caring, highly professional and compassionate doctor and will go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and understand any procedures. She delivered both my children. Back in 1999, Dr. Munoz ran labs to reassure me and double check some results I had received somewhere else. Although it was not within her specialty, she immediately knew something was wrong with my labs and referred me to a specialist where I was able to follow-up regarding a chronic life-threatening condition which may have otherwise gone unnoticed. During my routine check-ups, Dr. Munoz continues shows interest in all my other health issues. I highly recommend her without any reservation.
