Dr. Maria Victoria Vintimilla, MD

Dr. Vintimilla is a wonderful doctor with lots of experience and great care. She listens to my concerns and helps me with medicine changes based on my personal needs. Would definitely recommend!

She is pleasant, although does not discuss diagnosis, treatment and leaves patients wondering what to do?

She is very competent in the diagnosis & the current treatment modalities available at this point for managing RA. She takes her time answering questions & is very compassionate. She clearly understands both the physical and psychosocial effects of having a chronic, self limiting and progressive illness. I realize that there are various opinions on what individuals consider to be a good physician for me; I like her & trust her decision making.

Dr. V has been the best in treating my rheumatological condition.

Waited at least 3 months to get into as a new patient. The Doctor spent very little time with me, and did not seem to be interested in all the information I brought in for her or what I had to say about my family history. I felt herded in and out like an assembly line... If I could find another Doctor I would go however I will give this a try even though I am really disappointed with the appointment. Even the staff rushed you through. It is very expensive to see a specialist quality care should be the focus.

Exceptional doctor. Empathic. Has great understanding of Rhumetology and effects. Have seen other doctors in the area. She is the best by far.

I have seen this doctor quite a few times - always trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. Each time I come out of her office I tell myself that I need to find another Reumatholigists but they are hard to find (at least in this area). I was transferred to her when my doctor left town but not b/c I chose her. She doesn't seem to have any interest at all, much less any passion for what she does. Hardly spends time with patiens - Just asks me how I'm doing and if I need any prescriptions and will see me back in 3 months. I'm always looking forward for the lab results but she looks at them and discusses them ONLY if/when I ask. I was outraged when I read the EOB that my insurance sent me. For a 15 min visit she charges as if it was a very complicated visit. Definitely, this time, I will not go back to her.

I have been seeing her for over a year. She had been wonderful to continue to work with me to find the medications that help mr with the Fibro. and RA. More than that, I am disabled and there always seems to be paperwork that she must help me with. There is never a complaint and she completes it with me there, I find other doctors are not as pleasant.
