Dr. Mariel Patricia Bird, DO

I just tried to make a follow up appointment with Dr. Bird only to find out she is no longer with the medical group where I have seen her . She didn’t bother to contact me that she was leaving. Obviously, she does not care about her patients. I was not terribly fond of her as she was too plastic, but I was referred to her by my own physician. UGH!

Dr Bird is the best dermatogist I've ever been to! I had been misdiagnosed somewhere else and wasn't getting the results I wanted. She took one look at my issue and knew right away what it was and how to fix it. My skin has never looked better! Thank you Dr Bird!

I had a new patient visit with her today to evaluate a discolored patch of skin and wanted her to look at a bump on my leg. She glanced at the bump and said, "well it's not cancer" and didn't discuss it any further. She talked down to me the entire 5 minutes she spent in the room with me, only using medical jargon that I couldn't understand. I asked her to explain things in a way a non-medical person could understand and she seemed to snap at me, repeating the medical words that I couldn't understand. She is rude with a very poor bedside manner and did not listen to anything I said. Didn't address any of my concerns that I came in to have evaluated.
