Dr Marina Bogdanovic is absolutely the best psychiatrist I could ever ask for. I've used her for 20 years. My husband and I go in at the same time. He chuckles because he tells her that she is the only one who can lay down the law and I will listen. I guess it's your mindset. I read a couple of reviews that complained about her being forthright. She isn't mean. Dr. Bogdonavic had you see other sides of your problem. I shared her name anywhere and everywhere for someone needing a psychiatrist. Dr. Bogdanovic is retiring next month. That's why I even looked up her name and saw this site. It's going to be difficult to find someone to care so much in her discipline.

I HAD RESEARCHED PYSCH CHOICES IN THE AREA, AND DR MARINA HAD THE MOST TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND AWARDS. I DIDNT NEED HER AT THE TIME BUT I LET MY FAMILY DR KNOW THAT IF I NEEDED EXTRA HELP, I WOULD WANT DR BOGDANOVIC. I HAVE SEEN HER 6 TIMES NOW. SHE IS VERY WISE AND PROFESSIONAL. SHE IS FRIENDLY. SHE IS NOT OVERLY FRIENDLY. DO PEOPLE WANT HER TO HUG THEM AND PAT THEIR HAND ? AFTER MY 3RD VISIT, OUR APPOINTMENT TIME IS MORE RELAXED. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH HER.

I have been seeing Dr B for more than 4 years, and have always been more than satisfied with the care she provides. I'm actually quite surprised that others have said that her bedside manner has something to be desired; I have never felt anything but warm caring and sincere concern from her. She certainly knows her stuff, and her office staff is friendly and efficient. I would recommend her to friends and family in a heartbeat!

No doubt - Dr. Bogdanovic knows her medicines backwards and forwards and can inform you of about any side effect possible, adjust dosages, etc. However, her "bedside manner" leaves a bit to be desired. She demands ultra-punctuality - don't even be ONE minute late! She can also come off slightly cold, though as time went on I did build sort of a relationship with her. If what you are looking for is straight-to-business medical reviews, Dr Bogdanovic knows her stuff...but don't expect too many "warm fuzzies."

Dr. B is very compassionate and understands the needs of those with mental health issues. She doesn't coddle, but you still know she cares. As long as you're honest with her, she will do her best to help you. :)
