Clean, first floor office. PA and Doc were thorough and personable. I left with a logical treatment plan. I saw Dr Marina and her PA.

I am a health care professional and my experience far exceeded my expectations. Dr Protopapas not only has outstanding technical skills, but is one of most caring and kind doctors I have ever met.

Every time I was seen at the Fair Oaks office I waited 1-2 hours just to be seen by Dr. Protopapas. The front desk rarely speaks, nurse doesn't check in on the patient. When there was inclement weather I had to reschedule less than 24 hours and they're trying to charge me a $75 no show fee. Not to mention when the Nurse Practitioner walked me out after being there THREE HOURS she requested to reschedule all future appointments I had to avoid long wait times, well one appointment wasn't cancelled. I called the same day and was told I could just truly reschedule. Now they want to charge that visit a now show fee of $75. Ridiculous! I work for a large healthcare system in Northern Virginia and no way would we EVER treat a patient this way. The office manager, Eric told me there would be no charges for these visits. Now I keep getting bills and they told their out of state billing department that I rescheduled under 24 hours to charge me. They can't communicate with the office and told… me to call them directly. Well, Eric told me NO charges for both visits and now I cannot get a call back. I will NOT ever recommend this physician/location to anyone we speak with. TERRIBLE STAFF, TERRIBLE BILLING, TERRIBLE OFFICE MANAGER. Do not go there during winter months because if you have to cancel because of snow - YOU WILL BE CHARGED. You have a tree blocking your driveway? Sick throwing up? Well, be prepare to be charged even if you call hours in advanced.

Dr. Protopapas and her team are very qualified and attentive. I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Protopapas's diagnoses of my pain areas and solutions to solving them for a better quality of life for me.
