Dr. Marina Tourkova, MD

The staff at the front desk very very unprofessional. People waiting at the waiting area has to listen to their conversations and laughs witch is very loud and always in russian. You as a patient have no idea if they making a joke about you or just talking about their personal staff. Very very rude , unprofessional and unacceptable. No feeling of confidentiality at all. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I saw this Dr for 4 years , because I didn't have anybody else to see..Her clinic is always full of people, she takes forever to see you but that is not the only problem.I think they overbook, and always push you to see group therapy (there are all sort of group therapy ) I think this doctor is more like a business person then a doctor. When I was describing my problems, she was picking up the phone talking to the secretaries ..She would forget what medication I was on, and always pushing me to see this nurse..She is to a professional on MD field maybe in business , because the clinic got bigger and they moved to a brain new building.. She was very rude , serious and cold, I don't know someone on this field act so unprofessionally and have pack of respect for people who are suffering from mental illness.. It is sad, that today that is what we get in US with our insurance, bad treatments and bad doctors like her

Dr. Tourkova took no time to know me, and hardly ever said a word It seems every drug she prescribes has Pharm Rep 'Perks' attached..be sure that whatever prescription she gives out is because she is getting something back from the manufacturer, not for the benefit of your health. The staff is impossible. Almost every appointment I have made they called me they day of to reschedule, and getting an appointment is like pulling teeth. My advice - Find a doctor who cares about their patients, not treats them like an assembly line of patients and nothing else.

I browsed Vitals.com and saw that Dr Tourkova received Patients Choice Reward. I completely agree with this rating! Dr Toukova and her office staff provide excellent service and tremendously help the patients. Thank you, Dr Marina Tourkova.
