DR. Z IS A TERRIBLE UNQUALIFIED LAZY PHYSICIAN FIRST THE MINUTE YOU ENTER HER OFFICE SHE HAS A RECEPTIONIST WHO BITES YOUR HEAD OFF AND IS INCREDIBLY RUDE - WHAT ABOUT THIS SAYS 'WE ARE HEAR TO HEAL YOU' - PERHAPS SHE SHOULD RETURN TO HER LADY WRESTLING CAREER - THIS IS NOT HEALTHCARE - THIS IS ABUSE - PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!! SECOND IT TAKES SOMETIMES MORE THAN AN HOUR OF YOU SITTING IN AN OFFICE UNTIL SHE ACTUALLY SEES YOU AND THEN YOU GET ABOUT 5 MINUTES THIRD I WAS REFERRED TO HER VIA HOSPITAL VISIT AND I'M VERY OPEN MINDED - AFTER ALL THE TESTS I WAS GIVEN AND ALL THE INFORMATION I PROVIDED ABOUT MY ACCIDENT SHE HAD NO IDEA HOW TO DIAGNOSE ME AND INSTEAD OF REFERRING ME PERHAPS TO A MORE STUDIED AND QUALIFIED PHYSICIAN - SHE POOH POOH'ED MY SITUATION WITH 'I DON'T THINK IT'S THAT BAD AND IT WILL PROBABLY GO AWAY' SHE DID GIVE ME MEDICATION WHICH FROM MY PERSPECTIVE HAS DONE NOTHING-I'M NOT A DOCTOR - SO I MIGHT BE INCORRECTLY INCLINED IN MY DIAGNOSIS - BUT I AM IN MY BODY… ALL DAY LONG - DR. ZARETSKAY IS NOT FOURTH AFTER APPROXIMATELY 5 VISITS ON MY 6YH MY HUSBAND JOINED ME AND TOLD HER OF MY ACCIDENT - HOW IT HAPPENED AND WHAT HE BELIEVED MIGHT BE THE CAUSES - NOW MUCH OF THIS I HAD MENTIONED BEFORE AND YET IT SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN GIVEN NO CREDENCE - AFTER MY HUSBAND GAVE HIS LAY PERSON DIAGNOSIS - DR. ZARETSKAYA LEFT THE ROOM - WITHIN 5 MINUTES SHE CAME BACK - THE FASTEST I'D EVER SEEN HER RETURN - AND CLAIMED THAT EVERY FACTOR OF MY HUSBAND'S DIAGNOSIS WAS CORRECT - NO TESTS - NO EXAMINATIONS - NO QUESTIONS - NO OTHER PHYSICANS INPUT - ???? - SERIOUSLY???? - THERE ARE MANY THINGS I COULD SAY THIS WAS - MANY WORDS THAT END IN THE SUFFIX ' ISM ' - BUT TRULY WHAT I THINK IT OCCURRED WAS A 'PASS THE BUCK' LAZINESS - ZARETSKAYA WAS NOT ABLE TO FIGURE OUT MY MALADY SO RATHER THAN ADMIT THAT AND SEND ME TO ANOTHER PERHAPS MORE QUALIFIED PHYSICIAN - SHE DISMISSED ME ALMOST AS I WAS AN ALARMIST HYSTERIC - SHAME ON THIS DOCTOR IS THIS HER 'HEALING' PROFESSION - TO TREAT PATIENTS AS IF WE ARE WASTING HER PRECIOUS TIME DO NOT GET ME WRONG MY HUSBAND IS AN INTELLIGENT EDUCATED MAN - AND I THINK SOME OF HIS DIAGNOSIS MAY HAVE BEEN SPOT ON AND YET MY NEUROLIGICAL MALADY CONTINUES ALMOST 4 YEARS TO THE DATE OF FIRST SEEING THIS HORRIBLE DOCTOR WITH NO TREATMENT THAT SEEMS TO BE WORKING MY ADVICE DOCTOR: LEARN YOUR PROFESSION LEARN SOME COMPASSION GIVE YOUR PATIENTS YOUR TIME AND RESPECT AND IF YOU CANNOT REFER THEM ELSEWHERE AND HIRE A NEW RECEPTIONIST

I've used her for Chiari Malformation diagnosis and treatment before and after neurosurgery. She listens to what you say and takes a few minutes to ask to the point questions. She's thorough and professional and I have the utmost respect for her.

My particular experince with Dr. Z has been terrible. From the beginning, she has been more concerned with teaching her residents than being concerned with my well being. During my last office visit her focus was on her resident entering information into the computer while I desperately tried to tell her very important I'm formation and ask her questions. She told me a diagnosis, an incorrect one I believe mind you, then walked out without paying any mind to making sure any of those questions were answered. I'm sure she's a great teacher for the residents but she has absolutely no bedside manner. I first encountered her in the hopsital and I didn't even remember her because she had been in and out of my room so fast. I would go with someone with a little more respect for your time and and your concerns.

I have myasthenia Gravis. When I first got diagnose I went to the clinic and met with all different drs that was over 20 years ago. Then one day a new dr walked in and it was Dr Z. I liked her from that moment she was kind, caring and for the first time in 20years I didnt feel like a number. I didnt even mind gong anymore . So here we are 20 years later mg clinic moved and I moved with her to her office in Mercy. There are no words I can say that can thank her for not giving up on her mg patients when they moved the mg clinic she brought any of else who wanted to stay with her to her private office. She is a dr who cares about her patient true meaning od doctor

My husband is a patient and I am his wife and caregiver/support person. Any time we have an appointment with Dr. Z. She and her staff have been very helpful and understanding. I appreciate her team approach.She is extremely kind and educated and has always taken the time we need both when we call or during our appointments.
