Dr. Alcantara is an Excellent surgeon. I will be happy to recommend him to my family and friends. His office staff was more than happy to help me, especially Joe. Dr. Alcantara has a positive and confident bedside manner. He did a great job explaining the procedure I had, to me, and answered my questions. I did not feel rushed during my appointment. He came and saw me before my surgery to see if I had any questions. I asked if I could go home after surgery instead of staying in the hospital and that was fine with him. The hospital staff at Northeast Baptist Hosp. was great, especially the RN who was able to start my IV with only one poke. The Anesthesiologist he uses on Tuesday was very good, I had no pain after surgery. I picked up my pain medicine and antibiotics at 5:30 pm on the day I had surgery. Thank you Dr. Alcantara and everyone for taking such good care of me. Cheryl Rowwll

Quick to order a surgery and sent me home without pain meds as promised. Called several times to ask and was lied to when they dropped the ball. The next day after up all night in severe pain, they finally called one in after lying to us that they had. Staff treated me like dirt and brushed me off and hung up on me. These people actually performed a surgery and sent me home with NOTHING for 24 hours. They do not care about patients, only covering their own. Worst experience from a doctor’s office ever. I didn’t even get to see Dr. A the day of surgery for questions. Patients beware.
