The worst- office staff, who don’t care and lie, reflecting their boss who is no different!

Knowledgeable but no time for patients. Front office process sucks. They don’t listen or care took 2 weeks to fax a release of records needed to proceed Had to go in person to make sure clerk did it. Horrible process. Needed records came in from my other doctor but took Luna’s office another week to review Unacceptable

3 hr appt even before being evaluated, sitting makes my pain severe, and did not eat enough to sit this long. I was one of the first I’m waiting room and last to be called and seen and evaluated. Wish I read reviews prior will not use him as surgeon. Try Scripts. Don’t waste your time like I did.

stay away from this Butcher..He crippled my husband ,Now he lives in extreme pain.

Sure dr Mario Luna has good bedside manners but in my opinion he needs to know more on back problems before he tells a patient that the surgery he is going to do will fix the problem... dr Luna did back surgery on me for a problem in my back to legs which I had a numbing problem and the surgery he did did not even help in fact it caused me to knot be able to do normal every day things when before surgery I could do everything not only did his surgery not work his office help made mistakes and he also caused me to get a infection in the surgery area which came open when he stitched me up in office and that even came open and I had to go back in hopetal to have infection removed and stitched up again and now that all took 4 months after haveing to have to do IV at home for a month two times a day for 2 hours...so in all I could not trust dr Luna to do any other surgery’s on me which I had ready to do but has office messed up everything to get it done ....So in all I would think twice… before you have dr Luna do surgery on you I would look for a dr which more years of experience

Dr Luna is WONDERFUL! Very knowledgeable. He diagnosed me and within a month had surgery scheduled. His office was always friendly and if I ever did have to wait, which rarely happened they were always apologetic. They helped me and were very quick with my paperwork for time off from work. Best thing as well was no matter how silly the question or issue post surgery, no matter the time Dr. Luna would call back very quickly!!!' If I ever needed anything again would go back to him in a heart beat!!

He genuinely cares. He went through all my MRIs and showed me exactly where my pain was coming from. He is honest and doesn't beat around the bush. He also isn't out to get your money. He only operates if it absolutely necessary.

I was recently seen by Dr. Luna after an entire year fiasco of being sent from one doctor to another. He diagnosed me with needing bi-lateral hip replacements instead of just one as another doctor had previously said. After receiving Epidural Injections (from another doctor) for my back I could tell that Dr. Luna was correct. Once all the back pain was gone it was very obvious that he was correct in his diagnosis. He spent quite a while with me and did an excellent examination on my first visit. I was told at that time that we needed to proceed to get approval from my insurance for the first hip replacement and then eight weeks after that the second one would be done. I received my approval for the first surgery and waited almost a month for my surgery date, no calls nothing. I started calling Dr. Luna's office a week ago and never once would anyone return my calls. I finally reached a live person today and first spoke to a male who then put the nurse on the phone. This is when it… really turned bad! I was told that Dr. Luna wanted me to have a nerve conduction study first and that it says in his notes that he told me that. Never was this discussed with me at all, and in fact had Dr. Luna told me that I would have told him I already had one. I was telling the nurse I already had one, and that I have been going through this for a year and that I am in severe pain. Her reply "It doesn't matter if you are in severe pain, you have to do this first". What in the heck kind of thing is that to say to a patient? It doesn't matter if you are in severe pain! She wouldn't even listen to me or bother to ask who did the first nerve conduction study etc....She just didn't care. She also spoke to me like I am an idiot who didn't know what they were talking about. So for me here I am back to square one, now waiting to go to the very first kind of doctor I was sent to a year ago for the same test all over again. This past entire year has been a nightmare for me and dealing with people like her certainly don't make things any easier...

I have been going to his office for about a year now and I see so many people in his office at various times and days. I have heard people at the front desk waiting to make another appointment and complain about the back office nurses' behavior and I just wonder why there are not any real reviews to read about this problem but most of all I don't see any reviews about his surgery results written from other patients for knowledge and helpfulness to help people on making decisions. I might not go back because of the disrespect i received by the back office nurse no one should be treated like I was. People please write your experience for everyone to read.

Very greedy doctor. Cares more for money than his patients. Wait to see the doctor is usually over 3 hrs.
