Dr Shiode is the best she attentive and listens to what I have to say.

Dr.Shiode was amazing! We unfortunately did not get to see her through our prenatal appointment, however she delivered our baby girl & was so helpful and informative the entire time. When it came to postnatal appointments, I saw Dr.Shiode both times & it was great to have a doctor that sat and answered all the questions I had. I hope that we get to work with her with our future babies as well!

Dr. Shiode is an amazing doctor who is caring, takes her time to listen and give her treatment plan. She is extremely bright and I feel comfortable speaking with her - feel extremely fortunate to have found her.

It was my first ever visit to a OBG and she was so kind and understanding. She described everything in perfect detail. My nerves went away quickly with her. I’m so glad I got so lucky to have her as my dr and will be staying with her.

Dr. Shiode is wonderful! First off, my appointment started exactly on time. She spent time listening to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions thoroughly, explained everything clearly and patiently. She discussed in detail all the options available to me. I’ve been so frustrated in the past with my HRT journey and after seeing Dr. Shiode I finally feel understood and hopeful. So happy to have found her and this practice.

My experience with OBG Dr.s has been more negative than positive, often dismissing anything I say. And routine check ups have been more than just uncomfortable, sometime painful and comments from Dr.s that were just rude in nature. However, I had my first visit with Dr. Shiode and she was amazing. This was the first time I left the OBG not feeling bad about myself. She listens, she scheduled follow up tests based on what I was telling her, and I didn't have to beg to be heard. I think I finally found Dr that I can trust and is going to help me figure out what is going on with my body.

I’m very lucky and grateful to have Dr. Shiode as my doctor! My previous OB/GYN retired and I was very lucky that Dr. Shiode was listed as one of my covered providers. A couple of years ago, my mental health had a significant decline and I didn’t understand why: fits of rage, depression, not wanting to leave my home, etc. This was very unusual for me and I was concerned it may be menopausal symptoms. Dr. Shiode listened with a kind ear and had several options of HRT for me. She was so kind to always schedule a follow-up to check in how the new medications were working and adjusted them when they weren’t quite what I needed. She skillfully prescribed HRT meds for me and I feel like myself again. Also, my previous provider was aware of the breast cancer history in my family (grandmother diagnosed in mid 30’s; sister diagnosed at 46 and both maternal aunts in their late 50’s/early 60’s). My previous provider suggested just an annual mammogram but Dr. Shiode educated me about extra testing… that can be done. I now go for breast cancer screenings every 6 months and she also sent me for genetic testing. I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Shiode and appreciate her time and expertise to care for my health. I tell all of my female friends that if they are in need of a new provider, they should seek care from Dr. Shiode. She is AMAZING.
