Dr. Mark Michael Allard, MD

Dr Mark Allard performed hip replacement surgery on my husband several years ago. He’s had nothing but trouble ever since and is about to have it re-done by a different surgeon. We absolutely DO NOT recommend him.

I went to the ER and was told to follow up with Dr. Allard the next week. I called his office and wanted to get in that day but he wanted to wait and see me after the swelling had gone down in my arm. It was explained to me that the swelling needed to be down so he could xray my arm again for a better look at the fracture. Both Dr. Allard and his staff are great at explaining the situation and treatment.

I feel i should have had a more detailed visit than i did i had just had mri done and he never showed me the results he just gave short detail

Dr Allard did not try to check further to see if I had a torn rotator cuff, all he did was an xray no mri gave me a cortisone injection even though I said it don't work for me, but makes the condition worse. He wouldn't prescribe me anything for the pain, and now I am in more pain than when I went in can't move my arm at all. I am going to another orthopedic surgeon for a second opinion hopefully get the treatment I need. I would have been satisfied if he would have done an mri. I can't move my arm at all since the injection, He only spent five minutes with me. I'm not satisfied at all.

I am 48 years old and suffered a traumatic knee injury. It was a very serious and painful event. I could not put any weight on my leg. Dr. Allard took the time show me in detail the injury that I suffered. He then properly set my expectations regarding the surgery and my recovery. It has been eight months and my recovery went just as he stated. My knee is as good as ever. Thanks Dr. Allard!
