Dr. Mark-Anthony Chike Umobi, MD

Dr. Umobi is truly one of a kind!!! His bed side manner is out of this world. He is caring and takes his time. Some will complain about the wait at his office but i say he is worth the wait! He took such good care of me with my 2 high risk pregnancies.

Him and his staff are wonderful people , he always answers any questions I have and ALWAYS available

I BEEN A PATIENT WITH DR. UMOBI FROM DR. KHAN TO WHEN HE OPENED HIS OFFICE. DR. UMOBI TAKES THE TIME TO LISTEN TO HIS PATIENTS AND FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON. IT IS UP TO YOU TO FOLLOW UP. HE IS MY FAVORITE OB/GYN EVEN THOUGH I HAVE TO WAIT SOMETIMES UP TO A HOUR AND A HALF BECAUSE HE IS FULL. BUT WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU? HE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST AND I WOULDN'T TRADE HIM FOR ANYTHING. I DO STAY ON HIM FOR SOME THINGS BUT BECAUSE I WANT MY RESULTS ASAP. STAFF ARE OKAY AND GET WHAT I NEED DONE ASAP.

Dr. Umobi is very professional and thorough. It is an absolute SHAME he does not employ better staff. They are the most Unprofessional people I have ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. I didn't even want to give them 1 star. How can a so called "Office Manager" not know how to send a fax? How can a Dr office ONLY have lab forms for ONE Lab. Better yet, how can a Dr Office NOT have scripts to write lab work on??? The most Frustrating HOUR I have ever wasted only to have NO Blood work completed. I have already switched Doctors. Which by the way, the So Called "Office Manger" told me to do. SMH

Dr umobi is of course the best doctor no question ! The service to his office is ridiculous and I don't like his employees they don't have any manner. They made me wait to see him 5 hours.

The wait time is long but you have to but it in perspective, if you were in the hospital about to deliver or have a c-section he leaves is office to be there for you. Therefore, if he is running late its because he has had to do the same for others that day. I will take the wait time to have him as a doctor, without a doubt. His calm demeanor puts you a ease no matter how scared you are about your birthing experience. He truly cares about his patients wants and needs but always has your (and the baby's) best interest at the forefront. Trust me, you want this doctor. There is no better!

I never got to meet the doctor. After waiting for over an hour with no end to the wait in sight I told the receptionist I wanted to leave. I'm sure it would have been at least another 1/2 hour to 45 minute wait based on the women ahead of me. Expect to sit around and wait and wait and wait if you decide to make an appointment. I was told it is usually a longer wait when I cancelled after waiting for an hour! Not for me I have better things to do and my time is just as important as his.

Dr. Umobi is a great doctor. Many reviews highlight his bedside manner, while I agree strongly with the assertion that his bedside manner is second to none, I would like to highlight his thorough attention to detail and his expertise in his field. He is current about all of the latest trends and is very well versed in best practice and holistic health. What I love most about Dr. Umobi is though he is a master at his craft, he never hesitates to call and ask for a second, third, or fourth opinion. He is confidant yet wise.

Dr Umobi has a great, soothing, yet trustworthy bedside manner. He explains all circumstances and options with clear language and help you make a decision. He's overall a great doctor. However! He IS a solo practice. 8 out of 10 of my appointments I've waited almost an hour and a half to be seen, with the last visit resulting in me leaving after 50 minutes with 8 others ahead of me. As much as I loved him as my doctor, I can't afford to waste that kind of time in the waiting room. Side note: the last appointment that I was talking about? I was actually 10 minutes late, called ahead, and was told "that's ok, we have a 15 minute grace period." i then walk in and find I'm the 11th person in the waiting room (with 8 chairs), and over the next 50 minutes only two people go back- one was right as I was leaving. It's a shame that the wait times overshadow his ability, because he truly is an excellent doctor. Lastly: just a quick addition: wait times once in the room are… minimal.

I never met a doctor with such wonderful bedside manner and who was also kind and gentle. I had a c-section with my first child that was performed by another doctor. As most doctors in delaware say after one c-section your stuck delivering every child after that the same way. So I went to docor after doctor looking for someone to let me experience a natural child birth when finally i came across Dr. Umboi. He let me know my risks and told me he was willing to try if i was. It was because of this man i was considered a sucessful V-BAC. Im greatly pleased with him as my doctor and would refer him to anyone i know!
