Was unable to schedule an appointment. Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful

Hats off to a respectable Dr. He is knowledgeable, took the time to explain and answer all questions. Indifference with many other specialists, he investigated the source of the problem, rather than only treat the symptoms. I truly felt that he really cares about my medical well-being.

Still another UTI. I called the doctor’s office and they were able to squeeze me in late the same day. I felt that Dr. Bilowus was serious and concerned for my welfare. He took the time to counsel me on the possible causes of UTI in women. I guess I need to be more careful. He quickly ordered additional tests and a new medication. I started to feel some relief with a day or so. Horray!

Dr Bilowus and staff were able to see me almost immediately upon being referred to the practice. He explained what non-invasive procedures were available, as well as, their potential success. After each procedures both he and his staff followed up with a phone call to see how I was doing. I was completed impressed.

He cares about your overall health as well as your urological health. He is very clear when explaining about tests that need to be done, his findings and his recommendations. A very smart doctor that has resolved things that others could not. He stays on top of cutting edge non-invasive procedures such as HIFU and I love that he speaks Spanish. He's my doctor for life.

While a previous review of 1 star seemed to only reference the administrative staff, my experience was just the opposite. Dr Bilowus is extremely knowledgeable. He is courteous and his demeanor is quite pleasant. He also takes extra time to explain everything he is doing during the exam and/or procedure. He makes you feel comfortable and is very thorough. If a further procedure is required he explains every available option and will even refer you to the expert in that particular procedure if desired. He answers every question and is never rushed. Regarding the staff, Mary & Chris are very courteous & helpful. They made every attempt to fit me in, if possible, to see the doctor. One must understand that Dr Bilowus is just a one man practice. It is just him and the two staff members. Naturally, it may take some waiting time in the office to see him due to unforseen circumstances with previous patients. And it may take time to get an appointment, but if there is an urgency, the… staff will make every effort to schedule the appointment as soon as possible. In my opinion, its well worth the wait for this expert in his field.
