My husband and I were treated very kindly by the caring professionals that we came in contact with at Hollingshead Eye Care Center. I was referred to Dr Hollingshead by Dr Iwasa our Eye care provider. Dr Iwasa told me that Dr Hollingshead was the Eye care Professional he would use if he had my condition. Dr Hollingshead clearly explained what he needed to do in order to correct my issue, he drew exactly what my issue looked like and the options he had in order to correct it. He did not appear to be hurried in any way shape or form. He answered all our questions and we left very confident that Dr Hollingshead will do his very best to correct my vision issue.

He was professional, cordial and kind. Highly recommend him.

I waited years to get LASIK surgery and I'm glad I did. Dr. Hollingshead is incredibly professional, and superbly skilled. The longest part about getting the surgery is the wait. The surgery itself took maybe 15 minutes and, while my vision was hazy immediately after the surgery, I could see without glasses. It truly is life-changing. Thanks, Doc!

i don't know many people here yet, but two hairdressers (you talk a lot there) both knew people who'd been hurt by him. I had cataract surgery that created a half moon dark area in the outer corner. He didn't know what to do and at first said if it didn't resolve he certainly would NOT implant another lens. Six months later his "mouthpiece" (you may never actually see opthomologist Hollingshead) optomitrist Beseecher said Hollingshead would add a second lens. Huh? I also had a vitrous separation and was told my other eye would do the same thing ("it's aging") within six months. It has been over a year and the non-surgery eye vision is not distorted by hundreds of "floaters" as I was told would happen.

The staff is wonderful - this doctor however is very short with patients - his line is that "he's done thousands of these - nothing to worry about". I beg to differ - and after degraded vision after the lasik procedure - not impressed with him. He is very quick to "pass" you back to your regular eye care professional - even though he claims to provide a year's follow up. Think very hard about getting lasik - and think even harder about who you select.
