Dr. Mark Alan Lindsey, MD

Rating is less than a one. This man is inconsiderate and rude. He yelled at me, wouldn’t allow me to talk and finish a sentence. He was unprepared, didn’t understand the diagnosis for the reason we were sent to him. He claimed that he couldn’t find any of the Mount Carmel medical records for procedures performed at Mount Carmel. When he can’t answer medical questions he gets loud and obnoxious as opposed to just saying that he doesn’t know.

I arrived for my appointment early as instructed. I waited over 1 hour and physician was almost 2 hours behind. No one updated me. Just allowed me to wait. I left and will find a physician who values his patients time as much as his.

Old queen. Reminds me of the creepy Dr. in "Hand That Rocks The Cradle." Goes on and on about all her celeb crushes including Ricky Mark. Please Mary. Spare me.

Had a colonoscopy with Dr. Lindsey and the procedure from start to finish was first rate. Nurses and Dr. LIndsey were all about my care and comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Lindsey and his staff.

I was apprehensive about having to go to a doctor for a problem in this area, who isn't... I chose Dr Lindsey based on reviews online. When I called for an appointment the receptionist was friendly on the phone and offered a few appointment slots for the following week. After making my appointment something came up and I had to reschedule, she was just as nice and rescheduling was easy. I arrived at the appointment 15 minutes early as requested for my afternoon appointment. This is the only part of my review that is negative, but read on because I still highly recommend him... I had to wait in the waiting room for over an hour before being called back. When I finally got to meet Dr Lindsey he was extremely nice and friendly. Even disarming. This was great since you go to him for issues in a sensitive and personal area. I did not feel at all rushed and he took the time to fully explain a couple of treatment options and the pros and cons of each. The reason I'm thinking… that he was behind on his schedule is because when he is with a patient he does not seem to be rushing through them. And his bedside manner is off the chart. Reviews for other rectal surgeons my insurance accepted included descriptions of doctors not listening to patients and being jerks to the patients. This is most certainly not the case here. If getting in quickly is a concern for you perhaps schedule a morning appointment instead of the afternoon like I did.

Dr Lindsey is a very nice knowledgeable doctor but this is out third appointment waiting over an hour past our scheduled time to be seen. My husbands surgery was not started Until 4 hours after his scheduled time slot (not including the pre op stuff ie arrive at noon surgery not done until 8pm.) his post surgery appt was supposed to be at 330 it is now 445 we are in a holding room (not an exam room)

Amazing and compassionate dr well worth the trip.

Dr. Lindsey was very personable during my appointments. I felt he really cared about me. He also made an excellent recommendation as far as the anesthetic used for my procedure. I fully intend to return to him for future procedures as needed.
