Dr. Mark Robert Onady, MD

Dr. Onady is hands down one of the top 3 doctors/surgeons I have ever had the blessing of knowing. I had 3 hernias repaired using laparoscopy and was on my feet walking in just a few hours. But, the incredible care I was given by Dr. Onady was the best part. He truly treated me like I was his mom. I even kidded with him a few times about becoming his adoptive mother. He takes charge in such a caring way. I was a little sad to be done with him and his staff. They are all wonderful. I wish I could give more stars.

Dr. Onady was very professional, attentive, interested in her issues, and very caring. She has had a complicated colon resection following a gallbladder removal that he tackled. Dr Onady performed 2 surgeries on me in 2018. He removed my gallbladder and repaired 2 hernias. My gallbladder issue was difficult to diagnose. Dr Onady prescribed several tests but none confirmed that there was a problem with my gallbladder. He said, based on my symptoms, there was an 80% chance that my gall bladder needed to be removed. I chose to have the surgery and the problem was 100% my gallbladder. I am very grateful to Dr Onady for his accurate diagnosis and the successful surgery! ???? The hernia surgery was performed a few months later and it was done with precision, also. ???? I was encouraged to call Dr Onady with my questions. I did so very often and his assistant was very patient with me! ?? An added benefit of choosing the Surgery Center is the superb office staff! They and Dr Onady’s assistant took excellent care of me, also! ?? … If you are looking for a surgeon, I highly recommend Dr Onady! He is an excellent surgeon who really cares about his patients! At every appointment, he spent as much time with me as I needed and I never felt rushed??

Dr. Onady has a great bedside manner. He takes time to listen and explain surgical options. He has performed 2 surgical procedures on me. I haven't had any complications. I highly recommend Dr. Onady.

I saw Dr. Onady in an emergency situation at the Gulf Breeze ER. He admitted me for a small bowel obstruction. He used conservative measures to avoid surgery. It worked and after 6 days in the hospital I was sent home. He was there everyday . I highly recommend him.

Dr. Onady performed my surgery on August 10, 2017. It was a rare abdominal condition but I had confidence that Dr. Onady was the man for the job. He did not disappoint; he removed the diseased tissue plus he found an underlying problem that had not shown up on my CT scan. He removed that as well.
