Dr. Mark Henry Pico, MD

3 different occasions now where my wife who is a high risk patient has been told to call if situations change, and then gets blown off by Dr Pico and his MA. Each time we put in 4-5 calls over 24-48 hours and multiple promises to “call back right away” or “call back after lunch break” although we never received a call back. Figured it was a fluke the first time, give them the benefit of the doubt the second time however now that we are on the third occasion with a serious health condition and zero response we are done with this practice.

Dr. Pico takes the time to listen and provides caring options.

I am so impressed with this Dr.! I have been his patient 5 years now. I don't go in a lot but I have two very specific illnesses which are hard to treat when they flare. He is patient and explains his thoughts on everything. If he turns to his computer and goes silent for a few minutes, he is not ignoring you. He is speed of light researching stuff about you. Just be quiet and let him work his magic. If he leaves I would follow him to his new practice.

I read a few comments and realize that some of you giving low ratings is because you forget he is a human being. He is a good doctor not someone that takes his patients lightly.

I AM SO HAPPY THAT DR. PICO SEES ADULTS AS WELL AS CHILDREN! HE IS AMAZING! I SENT MY MEDS DETAIL TO HIM FOR REVIEW AND HE GAVE ME GREAT ASSURANCE I WAS ON THE RIGHT TRACK. DR PICO OBVIOUSLY RESEARCHED MY QUESTIONS AND CAME BACK WITH VALID ANSWERS. DR. PICO IS NON-JUDGEMENTAL, COMPASSIONATE AND IS AS SMART AS A WHIP. NOTHING GETS BY HIM BECAUSE HE IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE TOTAL HEALTH OF HIS PATIENTS. HE IS THE BEST AND MOST COMPETENT DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN.

This was my third time to Dr. Pico. He doesn't care about pain resolution. I suffer from severe pain. He referred me to another physician and when that physician can't resolve the issue I returned to Pico as my primary care doc as patient centric care provider and keeper of my records. He gives out a depression survey prior to visit. He throw my survey away, and it indicated I was borderline suicidal from pain.....seriously! Just doesn't care about you. He just wants to pass the buck to a specialist. He won't even write a referral for basic mammograms unless you make a separate appointment....could this be, he just wants to bill more. Unacceptable.

I've been seeing Dr. Pico for a couple of years now and I've always found him to be a great listener and sees me promptly at my appointment time. A+++

He is the most efficient Dr. He explanes all tests, also helps you understand them.

Dr. Pico is knowledable and compassionate. He takes time with his patients. When you leave his office you feel that he listened, provided medical information and options for your treatment. He works with the patient to provide the best care.

I had ordered my medical records and found I had serious medical problems. Dr. Pico never mention any serious conditions.
