Dr. Mark Kenneth Poff, DO

My entire experience as a patient of Dr. Mark K Poff changed when he saw me during the mid 2000s. I learned a doctor can listen to me as a whole and treat my condition which was a psychiatric diagnosis’, to allow me relief from my depression+ when I was extremely symptomatic. In 6 weeks results were evident after a med adjustment and into 6 months my symptoms dissipated enough that I could manage life and school and work without interference from my medication side effects. I felt heard. Now after meeting Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine I look for them and feel encouraged to research and explore my health issues. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to seek an educated doctor that helps me take responsibility and accountability for my health, with support and hope!

Has his mind made up before you walk in the door.

He is only a D.O. (Osteopathic Medicine) not a M.D. Very arrogant and closed minded. Does not Know how to perform a simple patient history.

Dr. Poff was was accurate with diagnosing my illness and made excellent recommendations for meds and additional options to assist me with treating my illness so that medication may not be needed in the near future. Each visit he was prompt to begin and end our sessions. I have already recommended Dr. Poff to someone within my family and they are making excellent progress!

This Dr has a very poro beside manner. He seems very nervous an aggitated most of the time and makes me feel very uncomfortable. He nods his head looking down writing saying nothing, very little eye contact. Then writes you a prescription and says see you in 4 weeks. I had a very bad reaction to the medication he gave me and almost had to go to the hospital. I do not recommend this Dr.

Dr Poff is a great psychiatrist, and a very nice and caring person. He has helped me a lot!
