Got a PRP injection in my knee. It was as a very nice experience and only experienced a little bit of pain which was precisely what they said would happen. I work a physically demanding job and I was happy I didn't have to go on light duty

Dr. Powers is knowledgeable and patient. We had many questions in which he sometimes had to answer twice because of the amount of information given. Dr. Powers did my full right knee replacement in January 2025. I saw him today for a year follow up. My replaced knee is performing great for me -- I can walk several miles on the beach, ride the bike at the gym, lift weights, go fishing on the ocean, etc. I was walking without a walker 5 days after the surgery. While the recovery was not pain free, the level of pain and discomfort I experienced was far less than I expected. Dr. Powers has a great reputation and based on my experience with him, it is well deserved. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a knee replacement.

Dr. Power is a very good surgeon! He’s done my right knee in 2014 no complaints! But now 2024 my left knee I found myself after surgery with the leg paralyzed for 24 hours do to injected a nerve! I wasn’t advised of this and not only that want me to get up and walk in that condition, I’m suffering of pain and numbness of that and he said I have Neuropathy something I didn’t have before my surgery, he got upset and left me in the room waiting, send the nurse to discharge me! In my opinion that was rude ! I pay $7000 to his concierge so I don’t have to wait a year and I can’t barely walk ! After my surgery he didn’t pass by to see how I was doing! I’m very disappointed with him , he wasn’t like that.

He was great. Looked at my MRI & CT scan & saw the problem & told me what I needed to do!

This last visit was a phone visit, as I am a snowbird. He was very personable and encouraging and positive. He replaced my left hip two months ago, and I have no complaints at all. Office staff as well as his medical staff that work with him are all wonderful!
