Dr. Mark Proctor, MD

My son was born with R side torticollis for which he received PT and chiropractic intervention. We followed up with our local pediatric specialists and realized we needed a second opinion. I researched and found Boston had a complex cervical spine program. Dr. Proctor and Dr. Hedaquists were phenomenal is how they dealt with my son, how they explained things to myself and my husband. We follow up annually until possible surgical intervention and reach out when we have any further questions but couldn’t be happier with this team.

IF I CAN GIVE 0 I WOULD Proctor destroyed my daughters' life Mulliken and Proctor did CRANIOFACIAL SURGERY on my baby. we asked if we may have pictures as well. They said pictures are just for doctors. Pictures were taken right before surgery and while my daughter 10 months old baby was still swollen. About 3 months after surgery an indent on her forehead was visible and on the side of her forehead. Mulliken and Proctor saw we were unhappy then Dr Milliken said "WELL, DOING SURGERIES ON BABIES IS AS SAME AS YOU PLANTING THE GARDEN. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL GROW OUT." John Mulliken and Mark Proctor work as a team They knew this will destroy our family, they didn't show any compassion or remorse, to possibly lean towards "sorry or we did something wrong les' see how can we help to save this baby girl.." They just shot the door for us SHE HAD 4 SURGERIES AFTER AND STILL SUFFERS FROM AN INDENT WHERE SHOULD BE HER RIGHT SINUS AND A SECOND INDENT ON THE SIDE OF HER FOREHEAD. Under… circumstances, I found myself at the children hospital a few more times, years after my daughters' surgery. as soon as I entered I felt pain in my heart my eyes were tearing when I got to my destination I was crying and sobbing. God knows how many kids and families had similar destinies as ours. I can't forgive myself for why I didn't follow Dr. surgeon from Lebanon NH (Dortmund Hitchcock Hospital) instead I wanted the best DR's It was my idea, not her father's, it was me. Now I have to live for the rest of my life with guilt nightmares, and just sudden mood swings, mostly sad and crying same as my child. I put most presses part of my life in their hands and I trusted them.

Gave me hope when no other doctors did. Could not be more thankful for Dr. Proctor.

5 Stars all the way! Dr.Proctor saved my son's life and his mobility when he removed a benign mass from my son's spinal cord. He was amazing!

My husband and I are not ones to usually write reviews, however this one is long overdue. Dr. Proctor operated on my daughter when she was 4 months old (she is currently 2.5 years old). My daughter was born with left coronal craniosynostosis, and choosing Dr. Proctor as her surgeon was hands down, the best decision we made. We flew from Texas in order to give her the best care we could find- with Dr. Proctor at Boston Children's Hospital. She had the endoscopic procedure done, and looks amazing today. Dr. Proctor has been there from the beginning to answer every question that I have had regarding my daugher's diagnosis, care and prognosis. He is the most thoughtful and responsive physician that we have had experience with. We give him our highest recommendation.

Dr.Proctor is an amazing neurosurgeon! My son had an endoscopic done and has to wear a helmet due to trigonocephaly , he did his surgery immediately after his diagnosis because it was such a small window to have it done or he would've needed a more invasive surgery, he's excellent at communicating with the specialist who takes care of his helmet, very grateful that we found him and the surgery he did for my son! His assistant Maria is very good about scheduling my appointments so that we can have our follow ups

He seemed preoccupied and did not give us the feeling that he was interested in resolving my daughters problem. Basically he seemed to be looking to pass her on to a pain specalist. Bed side manner was poor and dry, hardly spoke or asked questions. Maybe he should focus on brain injuries as opposed to back surgeries...He never followed up with us as he said he would....Bad experience....

Had an appointment at Noon with him. Called us at 1 for explaining what is Plagio Cephalis group clinic with 12 other parents. Once he was done, he started seeing these parents one by one. We thought we will be called soon but did not even call us. Sent a nurse to answer our questions. Nurse did not even know our case details. This is the worst experience we have had. Please save your time and money.
