Dr. Mark Allan Stevens, MD

On my first appointment, this "doctor" displayed a sour attitude and on each visit it got worse. He was not honest with me and after I stopped seeing him, he left the employment of the hospital where he worked. Too bad we can't choose zero stars.

Opinion- he is arrogant and pompous Fact: I waited over an hour past my appointment time...no apology or even an acknowledgement. Also, he increased the strength of Effexor for me and I had a horrible reaction-severely depressed. I emailed him and called his office twice over the course of three days for direction and he finally got back to me on the fourth day. Four days of suffering due to his lack of urgency. There are plenty of other psychiatrists out there, don't waste your time with this guy

In a few words, the hospital likes to give fentanyl as opposed to listening to the patients wishes not wanting it. I see why New Hampshire has a opioid epidemic. On behavioral health, unless you see a primary care affiliated with the hospital they won’t see you. Period. Now if you need help they ship you off to state hospital. When you want to go to your own doctor or hospital by ambulance in an emergency they won’t take you there.
