Dr. Mark P Teng, MD

Made an appointment to see Dr. That became a nightmare. They scheduled my Mom for and echo which she did not need nor did we schedule. Which now made her insurance not approve the procedure. When I called to see why the echo was scheduled they told me the appointment was cancelled. So at 8 am I receive a text stating to register for our appointment today. Only to find out it has been cancelled when I called. A new appointment was scheduled to exclude the echo. I have now received a phone call saying all has been approved since the echo was not needed, and I now need to change the second appointment I scheduled since that one was for the echo. When will the patient matter and listened to. Why would you schedule a time for the echo when I told you we do not need and echo. We’re you listening??

If there was a lower rating, I would give it. Dr Teng did not consult my PCP, did not ask me questions, and just threw meds at me. Did not accommodate my questions or realise I had an underlying condition. I was misdiagnosed and had to see another cardiologist for accurate care. Was not worth the drive--doctors in Dallas much more responsive. I cannot believe he has not been sued for malpractice yet

Dr. Teng has been my cardiologist for over two years. He is very competent and is friendly and personable. However, I've had two appointments, both around 9 AM, where I had to wait over an hour. At the last appointment, after waiting for an hour, I actually left before I saw him because of another commitment I had. I think having to wait this long is unacceptable. At least someone should come in to the waiting room and tell the patient that the doctor is running behind and give you an estimate of your waiting time.

Dr. Teng was very attentive, open, thorough and empathetic. He is also very knowledgeable and forthright with his facts. I would definitely recommend him to a friend.

Great doctor. He is complete in his assessment and accurate. He spends time with the patient and asks questions to make them feel more comfortable. I highly recommend him.

I wouldn't send my dog to him.
