Dr. Mark Todd Wichman, MD

Dr. Wichman did bilateral knee replacement this year (2025). He was great with listening to my concerns, giving advice, discussing alternatives and assisting us both in making the best decision for ME! Four months out and I am so glad I went with bilateral full knee replacements!

I had 4 very bad tears in my Rotator Cuff. I suffered for 8 months. My knee Orthopedic referred me to Dr. WIichman for my injury. Surgery was required and I'm so very thankful for rhe outstanding job Dr. Wichman did. He's git a great bedside manner and talks in a way that you can understand. He didn't stop at surgery. He was instrumental in devising a plan for Physical Therapy and my wellbeing for 12 weeks. I couldn't recommend a more knowledgeable, caring, talented and devoted doctor.

Dr. Wichman has done knee replacement surgery on both of my knees now. I have struggled with knee pain for 30 years plus and am back to total function and mobility with zero pain. I am a larger man (6' 1" tall, 325 lbs) but was willing to do the work needed to regain function. Mark has a great demeanor and really sympathized with my situation. I would never think of going to anyone but him. He does shoulders, too. If I ever have issues with mine, he's definitely the one I'll go see. I can't thank him enough for putting pain free mobility back in my life!!

Dr. Wichman did a total knee replacement on my left knee almost 6 weeks ago. I was walking unassisted within 1 1/2 weeks, driving in less than 3 weeks. At 5 weeks, I was able to walk pain free for 30 minutes. Prior to surgery, I could walk comfortably for only 10 minutes. Kistin, as the same location, was my physical therapist. She did an awesome job with me. I know my recovery was quicker than usual, but I believe the skill of the surgeon plays a huge role in one’s recovery. Dr. Wichman is a very skilled surgeon. I highly recommend him and his entire team.

Dr. Wichman and his staff are miracle workers! Right knee done 6/1/2022 and left knee 3/1/23 and I am able to walk PAIN FREE for the first time in years! Surgery was a breeze with zero pain and zero complications. I cannot recommend Dr. Wichman highly enough!

Dr. Wichman and his team were truly unbelievable. From the first meeting to the last I couldn't have asked for better care. The pre-surgical meeting, the care between surgery and being released. Follow the PT instructions and follow the instructions from Dr. Wichman and Tara, and you are good to go. If I have to have another shoulder surgery, there is no doubt I would choose to go to Dr. Wichman again!

Dr. Wichman & his orthopedic crew were friendly & supportive throughout the process of getting my knee replaced. As a result of meetings & conversations prior to surgery, I knew exactly what to expect & all of my questions were answered. The results have been better than I had hoped. It’s only been 6 weeks since surgery & I have regained most of my mobility back. I would recommend Dr. Wichman to anyone who has a sports injury or significant loss of cartilage that leads to surgery.
