Dr. Marlene Noumoff Kasman, PhD

Back in the day, Marlene Kasman was the only therapist in our town. She insisted you see her for individual and group therapy and shard confidences about other group members in your private sessions as part of her “therapeutic” technique. I am sure there are a lot of people who were damaged from her sloppy work. Today, Dr. Kasman advertises all over the internet. The reviewer who said she fell asleep during the session is correct. She did fall asleep during session 20+ years ago, too. (We used to go out after group and discuss this). She has never been a friend of gays and lesbians — which is truly ironic because she markets herself as an ally.

She is warm , empathetic and knowledgeable

Saw her for 8 months. She nodded off during our sessions which was uncomfortable for me. I missed one appointment and she left me a message and then I never heard from her again. I feel that if she was really vested in my care she would have called me more than once...
