Dr. Marlon R Brooks, MD

The front office is terrible with answering phones and returning calls to schedule appointments. This behavior is unacceptable as a physician office. Dr. Brooks is a very professional and attentive physician to me. However, the staff needs and should be trained on professionalism they seem to be very incompetent. I got approved for a procedure but has not been able to schedule an appointment because of the staff.. Something is really wrong...I will let the doctor know about this.. My overall rating is toward the front office staff only... Sincerely, PS. Good Luck trying to get seen in a timely manner.

the Dr himself, is good. unfortunately, his staff in the front office is poor, long wait times. his personal nurses are good. cannot reach them over the phone, no return calls, no follow ups. Sorry, I don't think there has been one time in all these years, that I have had the Dr speak to me over the phone. good luck if your pharmacy is trying to call in for a refill!! Inefficient is the word.

The office wait times can be painful even if the waiting room isn't full. However, the doctor takes his time with each patient so at least I never felt rushed, which I highly appreciated. He listened to my concerns and gave thorough explanations on each step of the delivery on the day my baby was born. His calm, confident demeanor is fantastic yet when it's time to get serious, he is 100% professional.

1.) Front office staff is extremely rude and they never call you with results you have to call them and then they get mad at you for calling. Other than the girl who answers phone his nurse is really nice! 2.) the 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait EVERY TIME you go in there is a huge waste of time and quite rude of the doctor to make his patients wait THAT long and when he does finally see you it's literally 5 minutes!! 3.) you have to pay to park every time and he doesn't have an ultrasound machine so you have to be referred out any time you need an ultrasound. 4.) He's too busy for his patients and I felt like he just doesn't have the time. He hardly tells me anything that's going on. I mean if anything at least let me know all is looking good and just keep doing what I'm doing but no he's always digging to see if there's anything wrong there's no support or encouragement. It's like he's just waiting for something to be wrong instead of acknowledging the fact that his patient is having a pretty… healthy pregnancy as far as he can see. 5.) My sister in law used this doctor for both her pregnancies and she liked him but what I saw when I came to her delivery of her second baby was that once again extremely uninformative to the patient. She checked in at the hospital and they asked her if everything with her amniotic fluid had cleared up which she had NO CLUE about. Apparently they ran a test on her a couple weeks before and there was something going on with the amniotic fluid and they NEVER EVEN TOLD HER!!! I'm personally not ok with that. I want to know everything so I can make sure I'm doing whatever I can for myself and my child. For a first experience with being pregnant and dealing with an obgyn I feel very uncomfortable and like I have no support system within my medical team...I mean I can't even call with out getting an attitude from his front desk. I ask questions and he answers them sometimes sarcastically like I'm asking a stupid question. It's my first pregnancy!!! I'm allowed to ask as many questions as I need to!! Needless to say I'm switching to my husbands insurance in hopes of finding a shorter wait with kinder staff and a more supportive doctor that makes time for their patients.

I was referred to Dr Brooks by my PCP for a complicated problem. He is amazing. Very knowledgeable, compassionate, and I never felt rushed. He took excellent care of me. I am forever grateful for finding Dr Brooks.

WORST obyn! I was admitted to the hospital on Sunday afternoon. He was notified that he needed to consult me, he did not show up until Tuesday morning. After paging him several times since Sunday, on Monday evening, he finally responded and informed the nurse on duty that he wasn't going to show up, since it wasn't an urgent call and which, according to him "didn't require a procedure". He hadn't even reviewed my record but he had already decided that I didn't need anything! I ended up being discharged after his consultation (no pelvic exam or anything). I went home with severe pain and with a 2 by 3 ovarian cyst.

Worst office staff that is very rude with poor bedside manner.

1...This Doc has no back up doctor.2...His ability to check patient is very poor.3...My recomendation for him is 0.

Waits are too long (45min-1 1/2hr). After seeing 3 other doctors throughout pregnancy in the same office, my wife wanted to make sure HE would be her doctor for the delivery. He insisted he would deliver her baby. We just found out (at 37 weeks) he was going on vacation exactly the time of my wife's due date. He didn't even tell us... the staff did!
