Dr. Martha Soyster Hynes, MD

Had an 11:20 appt in which I arrive on time. Did not get called in until 11:45 and was waiting in room for more time. Finally, by 12noon I asked if she was going to be getting to me soon at which time I was informed that she was busy doing a procedure. I got dressed and walked out. If we as patients are expected to have the courtesy to keep our appointments then then doctors should do the same and respect that our time is valuable as well. If I recall, the same thing happened during my first visit. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

REcently had to have in-office endometrial biopsy. Dr. Hynes talked me through the procedure and was very kind and helpful during the uncomfortable, but necessary testing.She has always been very kind and open to discussion about my health.

Dr. Hynes is a gift. She is a caring, calm, brilliant doctor. She has never failed to treat me with respect, and my problems with complete care and good closure.

I saw Dr. Martha when I lived in CA several years ago. I badly needed a hysterectomy, but Blue Cross balked about their interpretation of "need." Dr. Martha took care of that, did my hysterectomy and was the kindest, sweetest person when the nurses bugged her at home with my "issues." Dr. Martha, who had very young children at home, spoke to me directly over the phone very late at night and was abe to resolve my problems. She is fabulous, ladies...and is not haughty, god-like, or stuck-up. It's been 14 years and she still remains my hero. I love her.
