Dr. Martin Paul Alvarez, MD

Beware of Dr. MARTIN P Alvarez at Hundred and surgical Associates. He left so much scar tissue in my stomach when he removed lumps that I was in pain for over one year went back to him and they didn’t do nothing for me. I had to go over to Atlantic health systems to straighten it out to Dr. Jefry Knowles. All I could say is Hundred and Medical Center has lost away with patients. I have left most of all my doctors from that hospital. They don’t know what they’re doing anymore. They put Kabash’s on all the patients for 15 minutes at a time every doctor I go to see tells me the same thing and they don’t have any patient care any longer Anybody that goes to Hunter and Medical is putting y

This doctor said to my 80 year old mother who has had gastrointestinal issues almost her entire life that all is fine as long as she doesn’t get backed up. Ever since this stupid statement my mother has extreme anxiety if she doesn’t have an adequate bowel movement which results in hours of vomiting. He should know better and be more careful when talking to an elderly patient. This happened years ago when he had a brief (I wonder why) stint at York Hospital in Maine. We are now dealing with this anxiety and my mother suffers because of this awful doctor.

Could not speak higher of Dr. Alvarez. Extremely competent and caring.

Dr Alvarez is easy to talk to and I felt comfortable in his knowledge and ability to care for my husband.
